Thought Nisbet and McGill really linked up well tonight. Looked a more comfortable front pairing than we've had in a while but no failures tonight.

Chuffed with that. It's a good way to end a terrible run. Follow it up next week with a win at Palmerston and I'll start to think we're going places

It was a great result. Two great goals . Gabby McGill done ok for β€œnever a footballer”. It’s so easy to write players off. I had serious doubts about Lewis Martin a few years ago but now he’d be one of the first names on the team sheet.

Happiness coupled with frustration really as the ability was always there but last night, the desire was back.

If you only turn up to moan then do it elsewhere

Got to enjoy that win, however, we're capable of that, the manager has to find some consistency.

With the exception of United, which Championship club aren’t seeking some kind of consistency?

Not only the manager but the team have to up their game every week ,take more responsibility exactly like last night .
Every player played for the shirt last night ,to be able to say we could have had 5 or 6 last night is very pleasing

Great win and thoroughly deserved. Hope they can now push on & develop some consistency as a team. There was a great fight & belief in that team - long may it continue.

Not seek....find...try reading?
Last night aside results were utter pony, no point in a performance like that if we lose the following week with a whimper.

I Hope You're Ok Today....

<<< no point in a performance like that if we lose the following week with a whimper.>>>

Seems a strange way of thinking.

The point of that performance was that we got three points, whether we lose to QOS next week or not.

I'd say, even if we lose with a whimper to QOS, besides having the three points from the Dundee match, it showed we are capable of a lot of good things.

Come on Rasta, after a performance like that I think everybody's entitled to enjoy a bit afterglow.

Yeh?

Ffactualsake!
Do I have to state my delight at the result and performance on every thread before the hard of thinking/seeing take it on board?
My point is last night shows us we have the players and the ability, a run would prove we had the management as well.
Try thinking or reading min, I'm basking in it whilst you lot scrape around for a dig.
Irony much.

I Hope You're Ok Today....

''My point is last night shows us we have the players and the ability, a run would prove we had the management as well.''

So one game's enough to prove the players' ability but not the manager's. I don't follow the logic of that. Some might suspect an inbuilt animosity towards the manager.

Consistency is a whole different thing from what we have. That's why we're as well to savour what we have, e.g. great performance yesterday.

OK, you don't like living in the moment (forever saying if this, if that). Here's an if.
What if, instead of saying no point in that performance 'if we lose the following week with a whimper,' you had said, 'Great performance yesterday. Maybe it can be a stepping stone towards consistency.'

There's no need to 'scrape about for a dig' because you have this infernal 'Eeyore' habit of coming out with the miserable, even in the happiest of occasions.

Mind you. I've known several folk who never get out of that.

Yes it's true, I've read a couple of posts from you that I thought - That's Rasta? Being positive? But then you're Eeyore again. No more Eeyore!

<<< Only I'm not being negative >>>

You are so habitually negative that you can't even put that in the positive, e.g.,

'I'm being positive.'

<<< Got to enjoy that win>>> = positive.

<<< however, we're capable of that, the manager has to find some consistency.>>> = negative.

The manager hasn't got to find anything. We would like to play better and win more often. The route to that could be long and full of ups and downs, perhaps what we're seeing?

''In the same way it would be easy to point that you have a deep rooted love for him.''

I've said on countless occasions that I thought Crawford's appointment was a risky one and that it was made even riskier when we opted for the 'development' route but you're so wrapped up in your own views that you don't actually hear what other people say. I believe in having patience and giving the guy a chance rather than throwing the toys out of the pram after every disappointing result.
