Gill --- Didn't have a save to make but his anticipation and distribution was great.

Comrie--- got forward quite well at times, not his best game I thought but did ok.

Murray----effective and helped to nullify Dundee bully boy midfielder.

Ashcroft--- one of his best games for us. Well done Lee.

Devine--- seemed to have time and space because Dundee were not pressing
high up like most of our recent opponents have done. Good game.

Dow--- very good game, always involved. Great goal and his fitness held out well.

Paton--- excellent game. Bossed the midfield. Dorrans was anonymous.

Turner---- I usually disagree with negative comments about him but he was
rather quiet tonight but ran his heart out and was more effective than
his opposite number for Dundee.

Thomas--- Excellent in the first half good energy and brilliant cross for the
goal. Less effective in second half but very positive East End debut.

McGill---- Tried hard and was worth his place but less prominent than the other
front men.

Nisbet--- Brilliant goal and led the line well but if he had taken the other
chances he would have taken the pressure off the defence and put
us on easy street.

Can’t say I disagree with any of this.
