Quite a signing for them. It could be a bit of a gamble for them, must have quite a wage bill. Their league looks like it is going to come down to a showdown with Bonnyrigg Rose, the winners look like they might be up against Brora Rangers in the playoff. Then a further playoff against the SPFL bottom team. A lot of games with no guarantee of success

That is mental. They must have a higher wage bill than a lot of the league two and maybe even league one sides.

They only have a squad of 18/19, all are PT and have other jobs.
Wage bill is what comes through gate receipts and sponsors.
League crowds of between 420 and 500 at home, plus the bigger gates v Solihull and Auchenleck will have helped income. Plus they have about 4/5 other cup completions so a good amount of home matches.
1 player in today and 2 away.

When you look at some of the players they have brought in this season, now including Tidser and Chris Humphries, and the players already there like Stephen Husband, they have a fair amount of players that could be plying their trade in at least League 1.

Dylan Easton - Forfar Athletic

Thomas Reilly - Forfar Athletic

Scott Linton - East Fife

Ben Mackenzie - Airdrieonians

Nathan Austin - Inverness CT

Gary Cennerazzo - Spartans

Cammy Russell - Airdrie FC

Tam Scobbie - Dundee Utd

Fernandy Mendy - Raith (Ln)

Craig Reid - East Kilbride

This decades equivalent of dropping down the leagues to play for Sevco.

Pumping out dough in the lower leagues always ends well.

Dean? He’s a nice lad and has a tidy wee business (Conservatory Converters) a multi millionaire he is not. I know him well, I’m sure he’ll appreciate his new bank balance 😂

Hurlford tried it a few years ago.

Interesting now, - Cove seem to be on a similar setup - the glass ceiling is away so there is a route into the senior leagues.

Been to a couple of lowland league games in last eignteen months. Granted the poorer teams were exactly that, however the likes of Kelty, Bonnyrigg and BSC were all impressive.
