No, I can't see it happening, it's been steady rain all day in Glasgow and looks like there will be more tomorrow. If Ibrox was all cut up last night I think Firhill could be a mud heap.

Celtic woman v Glasgow City is currently on in East Kilbride on a 3G pitch and it’s barely playable, doesn’t look good for tomorrow’s game considering it’s not supposed to stop raining.

It’s actually not that wet here In Glasgow. It’s more wind and drizzly. What’s been causing some of the floods etc are exposed areas. Paisley definitely has been wetter than Glasgow. I’m not long in from 5’s at Glasgow green, and it’s mega windy, but wasn’t that wet at all.

Don’t write it off just yet....

If pitch wasn’t playable today then it would’ve been called off already

The simple bit is this - since when were groundstaff etc. competent to determine if a pitch were playable ?

Is one of them making the 10am inspection and/or refereeing the game tomorrow aftrernoon ?

Don't think that would happen. No need to call it off today.

Aye Rossmcno1 but the 5 aside pitches at Glasgow Green are all weather astroturf pitches. The drizzle in Glasgow has been very wetting and the gutters have been running steady all day. However if Firhill's drainage has improved and we get a good wind for a while without rain we just might be in business.

What's the weather like in Weegieland this morning, Paralex? It's a cloudless blue sky in sunny Dumfermy-line..... ☺

Would have been a minor miracle if the game were to go ahead - there are also reports of more rain over West.

Incidentally it appears the Devon has burst its banks at Tillicoultry and Sterling Mills is experiencing water.

Anybody planning to use that area for travel might want to check reports.

I see the Arbroath v Ayr game is still on at the moment - playing in that ground in these conditions could quite possibly be the most miserable place on earth - expecting the Ayr fans to travel up on a day like this is just ridiculous.

It perfect for Arbroath, they know how to play in these conditions as show in the game against us and the QotS game last weekend.
