Did St Johnston not do this a few years back to make their stadium look fuller on match days?

Tbf it would be better than the piped in crowd noise we tried a while back which reminded me of Escape to Victory

I remember the Arsenal cardboard fans, they were all white - which was a little insulting to the true crowd.

I love the photos in the newspapers of the Borussia Moenchengladbach Supporters with their Pappkameraden cardboard Friends ie with the photo of each fan all in readiness for their matches being behind closed doors.
No one is likely to invade the pitch at a goal celebration.Indeed the crowd would be pretty unmoved.
Though we could restart "Guess The Gate".............
