How many of these kids made it? They all played on big stages.
1. Heading was never his strong point
2. Steely eyed and skilful.
3. He could turn on a sixpence
4. He grew into these socks
5. He’s the urchin in the middle
6. Not the only trophy he lifted
7. Never a happy bunny
8. The Hibs hopeful is on the right
9. Relax son- you’re only a sub
10. Jumper, diver, sprinter

I thought Tommy Steele would prove a problem; he was a decent finisher in a clip I saw many years ago.

Nice to see Asa Hartford show Diego a new trick in that photo.
Numbers 2 and 9 have both played in WC Finals but only one was a winner.

Sadindiefreak cleans up.
Number 2 with short hair in the first photo but very much the same look.
Number 5 was Zidane, looking slightly more like himself here.
And number 9 a very young Messi eager to get in amongst the action.
Congratulations to all who were successful. I thought Tommy Steele would be a red herring but he was spotted first. Kempes, Zidane and Messi (not a clear photo) were the trickiest for me when I chose them.

So the only one not to make it in football was Sir Andy and Tommy Steel, there's also,
4,Knights,
7, World cup winners?
3,Champions league winners?
and like Tommy Steele, a few song and dance men among them.
only 11 make the team, the rest can just but dream.
