Auchinleck Talbot have been declared winners of McBookie SJFA West Premiership 2019-20..... despite being 12pts off the top spot in 3rd place. (based on the average points tally)

The league leaders’, Kilwinning, fans aren’t too happy!

Sorry about formatting, how one team can play 28 games and another only 16 lord knows. Clear winner on average points per game.

So many cups in the juniors- plus the Scottish cup, but 12 games difference seems ludicrous, surely just void the season.

All football in Scotland has been decided but the Premiership. If its good enough for every other league then they to should follow suit.

only 11 make the team, the rest can just but dream.

True, but the chances are that if they had to play their 12 games in hand in a short time scale, Auchinleck would drop more points than their current average. A bird in the hand and all that.

Of course, you can't factor that in, but it does make for a very unsatisfactory state of affairs. Will they get the dreaded *?

Not your average Sunday League player.

I think the second top tean in the Premier league should be awarded the title and their Edinburgh cousins should be second. That way the mouthpieces of both teams will shut up.

I wonder if all leagues will now include something in their rules explaining how the competition will be decided in the event of all fixtures not being fulfilled?

With all the concentration on the allocation of places in the various leagues, the resolution of this season's Scottish Cup seems to have been ignored.

Does the scottish cup have to be concluded?
Why not just void it for this season?

The SFA have said the Scottish cup will be finished.

It's just three games and they can fit them in at any time when football restarts.

Seems sensible enough to me.

I believe the new rules read along the lines of:

1. The top team will be considered champions. The bottom team will be relegated from the league...unless it's a "big" club. In these circumstances we will suggest reconfiguring the whole league structure and put the bottom teams chairperson in charge of organising it.

2. All teams must accept that Rangers are still the same club and didn't really die, even though we all know they did.

3. Aberdeen may only show promise in the first half of the season to give fans hope that a club outside the old firm may win the league. They must then throw it away in the latter half of the season.

4. If in doubt, an ex-Rangers manager should be asked his opinion. Except Mark Warburton.

5. If a club is falling out of line, Big Ross McArthur will be called upon to fire them some WhatsApp messages to sort them out. Anyone still failing to fall in line will receive a strongly worded chairman's statement.

doesnt "really" matter as Junior football is now dead with 60 clubs moving to join West of Scotland leagues and now senior. Has happened all down the league not just top league. Think Johnstone Burgh declared champions from 5th place.

Today should be the day Prem is closed off as UEFA confirm standing on european qualification for countires ending leagues early. Dont see point myself as likely be no fans at games until 2021.

Football without fans is nothing

"Football without fans is nothing"

Big Jock was rarely wrong in his judgement etc., and this observation is not one of those few occasions.
