 Pound a par
Topic Originator: Parnear

Just looking for opinions....
Sat in the house..growing a beard for the first time in my life but was thinking if the pars could open up EEP (bearing in mind social distancing). How about fans running one lap, paying a quid for the honour to NHS and if you feel inclined another quid to the pars ?

Nah, would much prefer to pay more tax for NHS, pretty sure that will happen at long last once this is over. No way should we have bucket collections for our health service.

Sorry just testing the water. If you know better lead the way. I’m just trying to help if I can. I really don’t need abuse. I’m sure real Pars fans will be with me on this and will try to help

Neils, If anyone thinks the NHS will be better funded after this pandemic they’re sadly mistaken. Tax will rise and like 2008, austerity will follow.

Taxes will rise, correct. No other options.

We can't print any more money, so the rest will be brutal probably, we didn't define after 2008 what government should do and not do, so random austerity followed, with the resulting scenario (social care hit brutally)

Psrnear, apologies are mine, just having a bit of fun, in-between a lively zoom call with some mates, fire away whatever you want obviously- but yes, that's what I think about the NHS, so I can't change there.

If I attempted a lap of EEP I'd need the services of the NHS !!!

Actually - 'er indoors, who is a regular walker, has had me out striding around nearly every day for the last month.

Done more mileage on my feet recently than the car has clocked up.
