so now we know what's happening with our own leagues and focus shifts to some for of restart...

what's people's thoughts on the german football on just now with empty stadiums.

it may be that i don't really care about any of the teams, but it feels a bit soulless - almost like watching a training match

would it be better if it was the pars playing or would it still feel lacking and hard to get excited about sitting on your own watching?

edited to add that the german football was with top production as well, not a live stream from a fixed camera position

If you've ever been to a routine reserve match where there are only a handful of spectators - that's a behind closed doors equivalent.

I watched the Cologne vs Mainz game. Tuned in initially out of curiosity but it turned out to be an excellent game (2-2). The atmosphere was a bit eerie but the players were fully committed from start to finish. Some excellent football on show. It's not great without the fans but it's certainly better than nowt.

Watched a couple of the games
All decent enough to watch and atmosphere not much different some Scottish games with a crowd

Watched Dortmund and Bayern matches. Both vg. Didn’t seem to be too much different from a normal bundesliga match. Obviously lack of an atmosphere but actual games were decent.
Thought refs in both games vg too, maybe lack of fans helps.

Watching tonight's game
Turns out Werder Bremen play the proclaimers 500 miles when they score

I’ve watched a few of games and have enjoyed the quality of some of the goals. It must said that without a crowd it is a bit like a training game. I really miss the noise a crowd bring. Least it’s a starting point. Would like to see them experimenting with adding crowd sounds. They are bound to have these from previous games and the could try playing them when a team scores.
