As a result of the Holyrood talks, the Premiership will start on the weekend of 1st August provided Scotland has successfully entered Phase 2.

Initially this will be behind closed doors.

The SFA has said top flight training can start on 11th June.

If the Championship is not given the option of starting training on June 11th, couldn't Scottish Football fall foul of Scots Law and EU Law regarding Restraint Of Trade?

There are Lawyers on the Pars Fans Forum who would know.

It was significant that Anne Budge, on BBC "Sportsound" today, seemed to accept that we will not see 14-14-14 this season, as all 42 clubs will not be in a position to restart in the near future; did regard the prospect of a curtailed season in the Championship as a restraint of trade.

Not sure that question was addressed very well tbh. I would have thought that the reality of this is that clubs, who have little income, are likely to have no appetite to pay wages to staff to start training until there is a timeline leading to the start of the championship season.

I wonder if it is just possible that we are becoming too cautious.

Professor Peter Openshaw of Imperial College quoted the latest research by the World Health Organisation on "The Andrew Marr Show".

He said WHO has found minimal incidence of Covid19 being transmitted in the open air in any of the many countries selected.

I’m beginning to dislike Ann Budge more as each day passes.
Wouldn’t know a footballer if one tackled her from behind

Wasn't he a Cap'n? As soon as Brexit got 'done' he seemed to disappear.
