This may be a stupid question

But how are wee clubs like us and most other Scottish clubs meant to survive without fans in the stadium? Has it been confirmed that fans will be allowed back when football returns? We struggle as it is without fans buying season tickets and buying stuff at the ground.

Serious answers please,I've been out of the loop for a while.

Not from the wealthy clubs giving their 50k to the lower leagues anyway

I looked for my pet in all the books on animals and birds and then I found it in the Book of Revelations.Marty Feldman

UEFA has said Scotland has the most inequitable income distribution in Europe.

The Premiership Clubs get their snouts in the trough and take 84% of the cake.

The Championship Clubs live off crumbs from that table amounting to 12%.

Where it becomes bewildering is the BBC Scotland cameras come along and create "Championship Sportscene" with a large audience they did not anticipate.

Then the Premiership takes 84% of that too!.

Scottish Football needs an Independent Enquiry covering that and League Reconstruction and Strict Liability and Youth Development.

Another possible stupid question - does the governments kickstart employment scheme for under 24’s specifically exclude footballers or will the club get benefit from that (I know it’s only minimum wage but I know some of our youngsters will be on that)

Realistically the Government is not going to confirm just now what will be happening come October. Unless there is a serious spike in cases though I would be confident we’ll be allowing crowds by then - no idea if these will be restricted though. Seems to me buying a season ticket is a pretty good idea as presumably we’ll get priority.

We've sold over 1000 season tickets so there's that. I think by the time the season starts for us I think there will be at least partial crowds anyway.

They could put stickers on certain seats so people won't be sitting together. Open 3 stands, 1 seat a red sticker for no seating and the next chair a green sticker so there is a seat between everyone.

That isn’t the case. Employees will be back working before the furlough period ends in October.

Only employees retained after that period continually until January 21 will the employer have an entitlement to the £1k grant.

Thats interesting, my son has returned after furlough, I thought that as long as they kept the person on the company got £1000. I suppose you can't trust the government these days.
