Want the Jambos away first game.

I looked for my pet in all the books on animals and birds and then I found it in the Book of Revelations.Marty Feldman

Yes, the Jambos away early in the season, in front of empty stands, would be the ideal conditions to catch them out.

A day out in Edinburgh is the only reason you want Hearts in your league. Playin them early on - no thanks.

Hearts away is the last desirable opening day fixture I'd chose - even without fans they'll be highly motivated to start the campaign.

Probably the best time to get them early doors before they get the chance to adjust to the division but would be a sickener to miss out on a decent away day if fans are still not allowed.

I would think that the first set of fixtures will mirror the 3rd, only fair way to do it. Hopefully by the time the 2nd set of fixtures come round fans will be allowed back in.

Twice given the 27 game season, has there been any word on influencing the fixtures so that teams dont have to play two games away to the better sides and just the one at home ?

You would like to think they would base it on last years league positions.

So an example for us would be two home games against two of, Hearts, ICT Dundee or Ayr and two away games against the other two teams.

With Hearts and Dundee being in different leagues from their city rivals I can see a lot of Sunday games for them.

No matter what happens, much moaning by all clubs involved 😆

You'd hope with 27 games they'd have the foresight to realise that random fixtures will mean some teams will have an advantage that could be countered somewhat by adjusting the draw.

I assume BBC Scotland will still show games on a Friday evening? If so I can see there being a fair few Hearts matches moved to Fridays.

all the final games on a Friday night so BBC can show a game, dont agree with that one though.

Pretty happy with those.

Teams we play at Home twice are;
HEARTS
INVERNESS
ARBROATH
QotS
MORTON

Inverness, Arbroath and Morton especially being teams we have struggled with away from home.

Teams we play away from home twice ;

AYR
RAITH
ALLOA
DUNDEE

I think generally we've got a decent fixture list to do well.

Happy with that, now its up to the boys on the park, so with the team we are building here wouldn't be surprised with full points out of first 4 games.. Buzzing for the season to start... Hearts will be too busy tripping up over their bottom lips.

Good close season signings, a favourable-looking set of fixtures, season ticket sales seem to be on track; everything's falling into place nicely.

I see our away game at Inverness is on Tuesday 29 December with a 7.45 pm kick off. There is a full round of fixtures that evening. If a midweek game is needed to fit in all the fixtures why choose a date in darkest midwinter? Even the afternoon of 28 December would have been more sensible as a lot of people will probably be on holiday then.

I wouldn’t worry too much Wee Eck - Nicola will have us all back in lockdown long before then after a few more healthy people have positive tests.

Sorry, it wasn’t meant to be - but it feels to me we are panicking about a surge in positive cases When most of these people are displaying no symptoms and are not ill. I also read about the upsurge in the young being infected - is it not simply the case that at the peak no-one knew how many young people had it as only those showing symptoms (and in many cases not even them) were being tested. Simply put the better we get at testing the more positive cases there will be - this does not mean the danger is any worse.

I hope I’m wrong but I fear we could be waiting a long time before we’re allowed back to games.
