 Cinema screening footie?

Here’s a thought provoking question

If the local cinema is struggling then why don’t they show live screening of the Pars games?

Also could Legends be open and showing the game as it’s being played?

So we’re not allowed to watch it outside but you’re suggesting we congregate and watch it indoors where the risk is much greater?

Im not suggesting that, I am highlighting the stupidity of the rules, these loopholes could be found in the inconsistent government plans to curtail the virus

If you can go to a cinema or a pub why can’t you go to a football match with safety measures in place

Kenny, there.s no logic to it whatsoever.

And you.re obviously quite correct. Within the current rules you could see Pars fans sitting in a pub indoors watching a game but can.t sit outside in a stadium watching the same game. Mental stuff.

Sporting events are allowed to be shown, but without sound.

C'mon Ye Pars!

That plus a crowd in a cinema would be more likely to shout, cheer etc etc

Would never be allowed. You could potentially have a mixture of fans from both teams in the one screen. Huge potential for trouble.

Not necessarily, when we play Falkirk it could be shown in the Falkirk cinema. When we play Hearts the could see it in their Cinemas etc etc.

Yea it could be shown in their hometown cinema but there will be Falkirk fans staying around here. There would be no way the staff could control what supporters come in as they would just stay they are pars fans. Only way would be only allow season ticket holders in and they must present that along with ID.

Which would create an issue (presumably) for the mandatory facemask rule.

Bozo has just announced that he wants people to attend cinemas. Obviously that is in England but instead of showing some garbage film they could show the match involving their local team.

No thoughts on how illogical that sounds?

Unbelievable, you can sit in an enclosed building to watch a movie , but can't sit outside to watch sport

East End Park is a symbol of all that is DAFC.

Sorry, da 😂

It seems highly likely that there's going to be a circuit break this weekend. I've heard schools are already informed and the ones who don't take a fortnight are making up home learning plans.
