 Half time game update

Pretty comfortable so far, a really well taken penalty by O'Hara too.

Pars with plenty of the ball in the midfield area and trying to break down a Dumarton defensive block almost.

Whittaker, McInroy and Turner look busy in the middle of the park. Thomas getting more joy than Dow in the wide areas.

Few attempts from distance from McInroy and Turner but nothing really clear cut.

New signings:

Whittaker - will be a decent signing, keeps his game simple and just sitting protecting the centre backs.

McInroy - real box to box midfielder, bags of energy and looks classy when getting on it.

Watson - not troubled so makes it hard to judge.

O'Hara - again not really in it, a few bits of link play here and there but took the penalty well. A few long balls which he has been out powered for in the air by the 6'4 Dumbarton centre half.

Safe all round, look comfortable but needs to be tidied up and a little more movement in the final 3rd.

C'mon Ye Pars!

5 on 2 counter attack that ends up in the back of the Dumbarton net but Thomas held the ball too long before his pass to Murray on the right side of the box which led to him being offside

Murray squared and O'Hara tapped In but the flag is up.

PJ crossan cuts in from the left side of the box and bends one from 20 yards that hits the far post.

Still 1-0 Dunfermline

Great hit from distance by Murray and the keeper palms it out centrally and McManus taps in!

However McManus well offside and the linesman puts the flag up.

Still 1-0
