Done more than Mcmanus so far... Had one bad touch and a save from the keepers foot. Hardly terrible

On a positive note he is playing on the last man and looking to make some dangerous runs in behind.

In fairness it’s more to do with me being impressed with him when he was at Alloa. Also he has been flagged offside at least twice playing in the shoulder when he was inside. Looks like a deliberate plot for Dec to drop deep and O’Hara to run off the last defender.
Still think we need another striker tho.

Only listened to it on the radio but the commentators were hugely impressed with his movement - reckon he’ll be a real handful this season.

He was often in the right place at the right time. Just needs to work on his composure, I think.

Maybe be better if he gets off the mark with a goal or two but looked a bit off the pace. But part of a winning team. Overall looking good and the captain leading from the front.

One of the times he was caught offside he was well on.
Thought he lacked a bit of composure at times and thought he would have been more clinical with that one on one.
But it’s only second competitive game of the season after a long time off, we’re two for two with a clean sheet.
I don’t think anyone can complain, couple more games and I think he’ll settle nicely.

I was impressed by the the teams all round performance great energy quick feet solid defence pressed hard .. Falkirk could have played another 90 minutes and not scored ... Also.... was nice to see they all went to the same Barber :)

Nisbet must be close to the Scotland squad now, or a least heading further in the game ,you are not going to find guys like that every season.
Ohara showed enough work rate and movement ,composure in front of gaol will come.

an off night with a couple of touches and finishes but it will come, Crawford talked about how the strikers could work and the second half was a perfect example of that.
2nd game in 7 months, ill happily take what ive seen so far.

You all seen the improvement in Nesbit over the season after Crawford worked with him. Its not AJ coaching now, expect to see improvement in players

Caught offside more times than I would’ve liked but I’m sure there are better things to come.
Club definitely see something in him to offer 3 years.

couple offside ...one on the edge... and one defo onside
Once O.Hara and the midfield get the timing in sync he will score goals

I don’t know how many times he was called offside but he was on for more than half of them. Linesmen had a shocker for both teams.

From what I saw tonight we’ll likely have to rely on goals from outwith our strikers if we’re hoping for top 3/4next season.
We worked hard enough though And good signs as the players won’t be fully up to speed. First half it looked like we hadn’t solved last seasons issue of how to get a foothold in midfield as gomis strolled it but we got better as the game went on.
Dom Thomas will be our POTY by a country mile. Wasn’t impressed with o’hara with the ball but without it there’s defo some good movement, half the time he was offside as Dec took that extra touch before passing.
Just sitting here drenched in my own negativity!

The front two got 38 goals between them last season. Think it’s a bit early to make snap judgements on them. I think that Falkirk side would finish mid table championship if I am being honest so I think we should be being a bit more positive. COYP

Its only the second competitive game and the front two will only get better when they gell, signs last night were promising.
Nisbet, was the same last season at the start and look at him through the season, so give them time.
I was very impressed with the way we tried to play, although Falkirk did take hold of the game for a while as we seemed to dip out of it.
On the whole give it a 7/10 and as i say looks promising going forward.

Aye it’s very early days, add into the fact that the pre-season wasn’t normally either, so less time for them to gel. I think they’ll be fine in a few weeks.
However, I would like another striker in. I actually quite like McGill, I think he’ll improve but he’s not featured much. If we’re playing two up front then we need better striking options from the bench than Lewis McCann.
