The Club has learned of the sad passing of Pars Fan and Regular contributor to the Pars programme, Jim MacDonald.

He was a regular at meetings of the Pars Supporters. Council and wrote the most wonderful quirky articles in the programme.

In his article at the QOS match, on 7th March, he wrote about pigs playing football with terrible puns about Managers getting the chop. There were a few porkies.

He was also well known at the Scottish Episcopal Church in Inverkeithing and Aberdour.

Jim suffered from leukaemia and passed away on Sunday afternoon. He is survived by his wife,Dorothy,Daughter Hazel and Son, Iain.

He was a lovely, kind man and will be much missed.RIP.

Very sad news. Jim, was also the Treasurer for the Centenary Club for a great number of years. I really enjoyed his programme articles, which were well researched and interesting. RIP, Jim.

Me too, wouldn't it be a nice touch if someone involved in the programme could pull together all the pieces he submitted and present them to the family

Only met Jim a couple of times in the passing on match days, true gent and pars fan to the core.
100% agree with red star, that would be a fitting tribute by anyone that could make this happen

RIP Jim

Sad news. A long time Pars fan. In his younger days a keen runner and a curler.
