Disappointing development. Wonder when we will be allowed back in?

It's anybody's guess atm, but things look decidedly bleak and I class myself as an optimistic person. ☹

I think most of us hoped we might get back after Christmas, but the way Covid transmission is rising, that's looking like a forlorn hope. I have it on good authority that the Oxford vaccine will be up and running in January, so fingers crossed that it's efficacious and that it can be mass produced in record time, so we can get this virus to F*lk*rk!

We're not getting back without digital health passports, vaccine stamps etc.

Call me what you want and pony up the bet money.

Efficacious !!!

Did you get a dictionary for birthday during lockdown GG ?

Incidentally - bemusing that Aberdeen are punting plans considering some of their playing staff.s recent cavalier attitude to the threat.

No, but I have a pal who is a decent journalist with good contacts. Could still turn out to be nonsense, of course. 🙂

The company producing it for the UK has asked a Thai company to make it to cover all the ASEAN area and they reckon next June before it will be in production for here.

Please don't book me Admin, it will ruin my life.

Also disappointing with the Euros being partly held at Hampden next year(if they go ahead) Highly unlikely to be anything like full capacity of fans there if any(Jason Leitch.s words-not mine)

I see the SPFL are trying to gain the power to hand out 3-0 defeats to teams who forfeit matches due to Covid-could become an absolute farce if this gains any traction. The team with least Covid cases or team with biggest squad in most separate bubbles wins in a competitive division. Certainly won.t be putting any antepost bets on this year either.

Wishing it would get to Falk*rk about sums it up.Can.t get excited about watching streams of football in empty stadiums and will find something else to do-spent enough time stuck in the house this year.

"We.re not getting back without digital health passports, vaccine stamps etc."

I reckon Rasta is generally on the money with this prediction, although the specifics may vary.

I can also see this being the case. I would imagine our rights will be severely restricted if we don't have the vaccine. I would be it will mean no access to pubs restaurants, football matches, concerts, workplaces etc unless we can show we have had a vaccine. I've got to admit I would rather take my chances with Coronavirus rather than get a rushed out vaccine injected into me

Some European ties last night had crowds, the French match had little social distancing!

Good article in the Guardian about Deportivo La Coruna. Amateur divisions in Spain are being allowed crowds (no TV money to help support them). Deportivo.s ground holds about 34,000. They allowed 3,400 in with a ticket.
