I think I`m right in saying that if they win tonight and their other very winnable game in hand they can be second top of the premiership.

Win tonight and they are 2 points off 2nd place with a game in hand, but very tight at the top of the league 5 points between 10th and 2nd

Another interesting fact from tonight`s game

Manchester United are the first side ever to score 2+ goals in 10 consecutive away games in the Premier League; indeed, they are the first club to do so in the English top-flight since Tottenham in October 1960.

Some record away from home this season. Rashford goals were tremendous although the goalie howler takes away from the fantastic play beforehand.

Absolutely incredible team counter attack for Rashford goal and a great use of advantage given by the referee. Win their game in hand against Burnley and they move into 2nd,2 points behind Liverpool...

They have won their last 10 away league matches - pity they can’t play at home when they can’t rely on the counter attack.

This is the fixture I’ve been looking forward to since Leeds were promoted. In the early 00’s it was the “derby” I looked forward to most as a neutral.

Don’t miss this game. It will not finish 0-0. Leeds will play into Utd’s hands though

Will Man Utd match Liverpool’s goals yesterday? I was expecting a bit more from Leeds tbh.

McTominay has been the best player on the park according to Robbie Savage.

You have to put the away record into context. No fans mean that it’s not anywhere near a disadvantage as it might have been.

Burnley did well and are in no danger of going down.

Utd again showed that they can struggle against teams that sit in and their defence is still ropey and for these reasons, won’t win the league.

Game v Liverpool may be a case of two teams who prefer to play on the counter, cancelling each other out?

Very happy for Solskjaer. His tenure at Man Utd started about the same time as Steve Crawford`s for us. Both have shown real promise after a sticky spell.
