Just received my copy of Heroes of the Halbeath Road in the post today, along with a couple of Pars facemasks and a new copy of Douglas Scott/Jim Paterson`s Black & White Magic.

My old copy B&W Magic got damaged when I left it outside in the garden and it rained.

A sincere thank you to the guys at the Club Shop. As always, you do everything with great efficiency.

Happy new year everyone!

:)

Our book has now officially SOLD OUT with all 1150 copies now accounted for. This has raised almost £4,000 for the PST which helps us continue to provide financial assistance to our club.

Huge thanks to Mike Gibb for writing the book and for all the kind words about the book from many of you.

All Mike has to do now is come up with another Pars best seller next Christmas!!

Is it not possible to have another print run to cash in on its popularity?

Hearts could still have won the league that season, even if the Pars had beaten St. Johnstone.

Sir Fergie didn`t play in the final, so he is not guilty in respect of that loss.

Both me and my sister got this for our dad this Christmas, says he`s enjoying both copies. One on the cult heroes that were maybe not as successful as other players would be an interesting read. Would love to find out what happened to Sergio Duarte

I bet you a dollar

"Would love to find out what happened to Sergio Duarte."

He jumped bail after being charged with impersonating a professional football player and flew to a country with no extradition treaty with the UK.

He was absolutely murder. Hit the bar with a 30 yard shot on his debut and was brutal after that. We had another Brazilian at that time - Edinho who was just as bad as well.

Awight Pat!
