Not worth the money with no crowds. Having more games towards the end of the season, with the outside chance of crowds being allowed in, makes far more sense than buying blankets for the pitch.

I thought we had blankets already but not sure how much protection they offer. Surely would need to be heated and then there's a risk of burning the grass.

I would buy several very large mirrors and place on the north stand to reflect the winter sun back to the south side of the pitch ;o)

It's a pity the stand roofs aren't covered in solar panels as we could put in enormous storage heaters.
