We`re going back to where we were in March so what effect does that have on professional football?

Thankfully football isn’t affected by this. At least at our level anyway. Thank God, because weekends filled with zoom quizzes should be a thing that gets kept in the past.

Have to keep the footie going. It`s the modern day opiate of the people and I`m one of the people who likes it. It`s either that or Eastenders. I know what I would choose. We need interests and with the English Premiership providing the most competitive league in decades, a team other than Celtic about to win a major competition in Scotland and the Pars doing no too bad, it all helps to while away the long lockdown hours.

Hilarious eh. Literally 22 people in very close proximity breathing and touching each other. But we need to have big gaps in queues with masks on outside Argos. Amazing. Glad it’s still going ahead though

Celtic off to Dubai for a "training" camp, not setting a good example when training can be carried out in this country, but pubs are not open so maybe another reason.
Celtic fans in meltdown, they may have even forgotten about the referee now!

Celtic have been accused of not setting "a particularly great example" by flying to Dubai on a training camp by Deputy First Minister John Swinney.

The Glasgow club travelled to the United Arab Emirates just hours after their Old Firm defeat on Saturday.

Scotland is in the midst of heavy Covid-19 restrictions with movement outside the country allowed only for essential reasons.

"I don't think it's a good idea," Mr Swinney told BBC Radio Scotland.

Travellers returning from the UAE are exempt from self-isolation protocols in Scotland.

Well, masking, not seeing friends or family, no arts, no football, revolutionary 99% super effective vaccine and two weeks to flatten the curve worked out well eh.
Bit yeah this year will be different...of course it will...until they tell you it won't.

It worked in places that did it properly.

The notion that because the UK and US messed up then it is somehow a conspiracy is not rational.

Are New Zealand refusing to play along but not exposing the conspiracy?

Did China change its mind about the conspiracy?

Is the huge reticence of many governments a form of reverse psychology?

I have many more questions Rasta, if you have time? I get that I could do my own research, but the thing is that I have and I have reached a very different conclusion to the one which you have.

Swinney should wind his neck in. His lot approved Celtic's trip and he knows it.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the Scottish Government said Elite Sports teams could fly abroad for competition.

I do not think a training camp in the sun satisfies that criterion.

Some naive Politicians believe the SFA will take action but they have done nothing about the wretched scenes at Celtic Park after the defeat by Ross County.

Yes we remain the only nation in UEFA not to have Strict Liability.

This smacks of the familiar Celtic arrogance and is in bad taste as we go into a more severe Lockdown.

Celtic have not broken any rules.

"A Celtic spokesman told BBC Scotland: "The training camp was arranged a number of months ago and approved by all relevant footballing authorities and the Scottish government through the Joint Response Group on 12th November 2020.
"The team travelled prior to any new lockdown being in place, to a location exempt from travel restrictions. The camp, the same one as we have undertaken for a number of years has been fully risk assessed."If the club had not received Scottish Government approval then we would not have travelled."

People need to stop with this "I`m better than you mentality"
