Ooft! Does that imply Dundee can offer more money than United?

Maybe not. If he's taking a pay cut now then maybe a trip across the road doesn't involve much difference in pay.
All clubs in Scotland will be feeling to right now but I felt that, pre-covid, Dundee Utd were going to down that dangerous road the Pars went down. I suspect the owner bought into the whole "New Firm" thing without realising it was 30 odd years ago.

Hell mend them.
30 odd years ago?
Jeez, 34 years ago Utd were beating Barcelona Home & away
- mind though, they did it 20 years before that too.
Imagine having a 100% record H&A over them...

Hang on....
Is this old news?
I'm sure I read this half way through last season.
Not trying to pour cold water over anyone's thread but I've definitely read that they were asking players to take wage cuts quite recently.

they have only just agreed to the cuts.
as for McMullan, it is nothing to do with the cuts or Dundee able to offer more money

Dundee themselves had publicly announced significant wage cuts late summer.

Surely moving to Dundee is a bit like out the frying pan and into the fire?

Nah, it's more like out of the Premiership and down to the Championship, da. 😉
