Regardless of the score tonight (where did the officials get 5 mins extra) Mr Weir can take a huge bow, that is how a goalkeeper should command his area, i thought he was excellent and could easily play at a higher league, well done sir.

Bonnyrigg were no mugs and I was impressed the way they went for it in extra time but they seemed to be happy to soak up pressure again after their second penalty. They were living dangerously in their own penalty box and ultimately their luck ran out. Ashcroft was effectively playing as an attacking full-back!
One of Bonnyrigg`s subs, Lewis Turner, was said to be a former Pars` youth player. That must have been a while ago!

Bonnyrigg’s performance was, for a team at their level, very commendable. They gave Dundee one hell of a scare, that’s for sure. Granted, their penalties were a tad fortuitous, but their luck was hard earned.
Dundee deserved to win overall - Bonnyrigg got deeper and deeper as the game progressed because of the pressure they had to withstand, but they did the Lowland League proud. Losing an equaliser with literally seconds to go is tough to take, and to take the lead for a second time after such a blow, was no mean feat.
