He has been appointed as `sporting director` at Falkirk. He says he has no designs on the manager`s job but his aim is to get them back to the Premiership.

Bit of a departure from his Slayer and Exodus gigs but I wish him well 😉

Indeed... Maybe exodus have furloughed him.
Suppose he's got bills to pay like the rest of us 🤣

Reading between the lines of his interviews after joining Falkirk it seems that he may have been recruited to resurrect their academy. Maybe he was head-hunted and just told Livi he wanted to do something else.

He used to be their manager. Here`s part of his interview :-
`The 47-year-old says he has "unfinished business" at the club that he left to become assistant at Norwich City.
"Falkirk has always held a special place in my heart," said Holt. "I`m going to devote all my energies in getting this club back to the Scottish Premiership."
Holt, who won 10 Scotland caps during a 16-year career with Kilmarnock, Norwich and Nottingham Forest, insists he is "not here to be the next Falkirk manager".
But he believes working in youth development while in England can help him "develop a five-year football strategy" at the club.`
Just speculation on my part that he may have had this lined up before leaving Livi of course.

Aye mine too. Slightly different sentiment I suspect though.

Let`s hope it`s a total car crash. Another wage they can ill afford and an additional chunk wasted on an academy which isn`t fit for purpose.

I love it when we go sell Kevin Nisbet,
He's gonna pay for everyone this season.

Their previous youth academy was a financial millstone around their neck which had to be abandoned as it was threatening to draw the club into an economic meltdown.
Unless they`ve identified a new significant revenue source then it`s wishful thinking by the looks of things.

Have they not got new American investment?
Debated this yesterday, so no need to go over old ground but it would be interesting to see how much it cost vs how much they brought in from player sales.

There's a slight chance you're taking that a bit more seriously than intended.
