For once I agreed with the sponsors` choice - Iain Wilson - but, to be honest, he didn`t need to be brilliant to get MOM. Comrie, Watson and E Murray got pass marks imo.

Comrie, given that we were at home he saw far too much of the ball, particularly in the first half.

so at home who should have the ball out of curiosity??

people don't want to play route one football which means the defenders will have plenty of the ball especially at home when teams sit in.

Although it was a poor performance overall I thought Watson and Murray were solid at the back. I don't understand how Wilson got the sponsor's MoM.

Firstly, you couldn`t accuse Ayr of sitting in. In my opinion they were on the front foot from the off and they put Comrie under a lot of pressure particularly in the first half which he dealt with comfortably hence my nomination.

To answer your question about who I would like to see on the ball at home-based on our line up yesterday the answer is Dow,Wilson Turner,Thomas ,McManus. Unfortunately at no point in the game did we get a grip of midfield.
