never understand how professional players who have time cannot hit the ball on target, top pros would be on target 80% of the time, and score with 50% of these if we got better at this we would be near the top. something for the manager and players to work on.

First of all - we are near the top.
Secondly, the problem has been our lack of attacking play (as a team) as opposed to the number of shots on/off target.

This division is dog eat dog , everyone is capable of beating each other and we should be taking the chances that come our way , despite this we are still in a good position and hopefully will continue to stay there if some of our players can recover their early season form .

If you read about the top players they practice in the afternoon often by themselves. I know because of covid that might be difficult but that is how they become adept at certain tactics. I know it's a different sport but when young I played hockey for the school. On a Friday evening I used to practice trying different techniques that I could try the next day. To become an expert at anything you have to practice practice practice. PS I only played football for the school team once and I had the good fortune to score the first goal, the star of the game was Joe Craig and he played for the other school. My school team never got another game!
