Just listened myself. Very odd, says they want to keep it in house.
I’d imagine a wee scuffle?

or both of them werent in the starting line up, both had a bit to say about it perhaps not the first time and Crawford took them out altogether with the added players in the squad available. 20/21 into 18 doesnt go, players will be left out now.

A wee scuffle is good it shows the determination and willingness to succeed to be the best and not to give in and to stand up for yourself .... Its a fundamental part of life .... It happens all the time on training grounds .... Lets hope it was no more than that and it stays indoors

“ But would you leave 2 of our decent players out after an incident in training?..... I certainly wouldn’t and tell them to show it on the pitch tbh. Maybe tactical but Thomas has not been playing well in the past few games but both should still be on the bench?”
You don’t even know what happened. If they have done something that would see other players dropped/left out, they should be left out. No player is bigger than the club and they should be treated the same. Otherwise you risk there being divisions in the squad. Dropping 2 key players for whatever happened, sends out the message to the whole squad that whatever they have done will not be tolerated.
If the manager decides that this is the way they need to be punished for whatever they have done, you just have to accept and respect that. Hopefully next time they’re on the park, they try and put things right. You can’t just let these 2 do whatever they like, with no consequences, just because you think they’re good players. That would be terrible management.

Was surprised both left out today. Two of them our bright sparks in our team and I certainly won’t join in a pile on , on Stevie Crawford here, as he knows what went on and keeps it “in house “
Anyone who has run a football team knows **** happens with personalities clash.

Agreed, however maybe already been questions asked by journos.
To be honest, it was a comment that could relate to anything! Even a Head knock in training. Just need to keep the speculation to a minimum as rumours just damage moral.

However, to avoid the media circus, he could have just said they picked up knocks in training but should be fit for the Wee Team.

Honestly surely anyone can see these 2 have been made offers for other teams and they will be gone..... Craw would never leave these guys out the team if they had a wee handbag scuffle..
Think it shows very good management leaving these pair out if there was a scuffle yesterday , sets tone that whatever happened will not be tolerated, Stevie very much reinforces in interviews about people's character on and off the park being part of the club so imagine a lines been crossed and manager quite rite to take action. Otherwise other players will think they can do similar and get away with it.

Imo Turner will be gone and Thomas could be on his way...... let’s remember we are a feeder team for a while and sell players for money... this can only benefit the club in the future.
where would Thomas go? barely kicked a ball since the Hearts game in November.

"Heard one player wasn’t fit to play and the other left out due to on going contract talks"
Thomas not fit, Turner left out then.
why is the captain not being left out then when he is in the same situation?
"If he wanted to keep it in house he shouldn’t have said anything to the media"
he got asked the question, if he replied no comment then the same thing would have happened, his actual answer is fine imo.

“What was the reason for Dom and Kyles absences ? “
Surely a better answer is I picked 18 best suited for today’s game.
If you want to keep something in house you don’t do the opposite and tell the media lol.

Good grief, nae wondet conspiracy theories take hold easily.
It starts with a queerie, followed by suggestions and assumptions. Then somebody heard something, most likely from his cousins babysitters grannies dogwalker.
Within minutes the assumptikns are being discussed as facts and outrage ensues.
I heard from a very reliable source that both are on their way to The Divided States of Trumperica to sign for the new Q-Anon Raiders team.

I feel no need to ask questions. I trust the manager and the club to handle everything transparently. So once everything is dealt with then depending on circumstances they are normally quite decent at letting fans know.

Totally back the manager in this. As it happens I thought he picked the best team for this game. I personally think that there maybe suitors for Turner. Same scenario as Nisbet today. You have got to ask why Turner has not signed a new contract as I am sure he will have been offered one.

Maybe the incident was related to an approach from Hearts for both players?
Put it this way, such behaviour is exactly what I’d expect from Robbie Neilson...

Wasn’t talking about Thomas. He is ours till the end of next season. I would have thought that Turner would have had an contract on the table before Dow and Comrie. Although I am glad they have both extended. Just smells that Turners head has been turned.

Nonsense. It's definitely a story when they're two of our best performers since the start of the season.
Can't argue with neither starting, but not being on the bench if fit means Stevie has seen something quite serious. Hopefully just knocks and they're both back midweek.

Stick this in your rumour mill:
Kyle Turner has a contract on the table from us, he`s gone to his good pal and mentor, Paul Paton, for advice who`s said "Dungfermline are *rseholes, get out of there pronto me ol` mucka! Look what they did to me!" So, he`s no signing and will go somewhere, anywhere either now or in the summer.
Or, you`d be radge to turn down Hearts.
Or, its a head knock....from being malkied by Rutherglen`s finest.
They were both bitten by dugs.
