Tonights Game In Partnership With The Samaritans
Topic Originator: yvb-par

As part of the ongoing campaign to raise Mental Health Awareness, If you can remember before the Hearts game at EEP the Pars players wore the distinctive green `T` shirts of the Samaritans for the warm up.

Tonight`s rescheduled game will see both teams wearing the distinctive green `T` shirts of the Samartitans. It is great that Raith Rovers wanted to be part of this as it will send a strong Fife message of listening, hope and support.

These are still very difficult times for everyone, it is OK to not to be OK, and the Samaritans will provide a listening ear, Please don`t suffer in silence.

Well done to Eddie, and to the Boards of both clubs for supporting the initiative.

Good to see this happening again, now that the fixture will (hopefully) be played tonight.

Would you mind making a small change to your initial post? Samaritans certainly provide a listening ear but do not give advice. It`s quite a big thing, so if you could take that out, that would be appreciated. Thanks.

Brilliant stuff, Eddie. Helping to raise awareness of a very important issue which is even more acute just now, due to the pandemic.

Thanks Eddie for updating the post at the top.

Nice to see this happen tonight. Samaritans is something that`s important to me so I`m really happy to see DAFC supporting the charity and hopefully helping to make the service more accessible to men in particular, who are generally harder to reach.

Good interview before the game with Eddie too.

Is there any possibility of Eddie's interview being shared along with the highlights or even better it's own story on Cows?

I didn't get logged on until just after kick off so unfortunately missed it.
