yeh and forecast looks bad for the following week with sub zero temperatures with the eep already saturated would be slight cause for concern.

Hopefully we get these games played and pick up where we finished last night though this weekend be a very different task.

Snow isn’t forecast for Arbroath between now and tomorrow although like here there’s to be plenty of rain. A waterlogged pitch should be the only concern. Games next weekend will be in doubt though.

Dundee game is off. Good chance to pull further ahead if our game is on.

Dundee's pitch was like a tatty field in front of the dugouts, and that was from a month ago !

The forecasts I seen were showing 60 - 80% rain and snow, not holding out much hope of it going ahead, much as I would like it to after Wednesday`s performance

From Arbroath directly, I asked them on twitter if there was a planned pitch inspection. Below is the response:

Arbroath has just had heavy rain so far, but the Gayfield pitch drains well. We will obviously provide an update if the weather worsens overnight but the pitch was in excellent condition after Wednesday's match.

C'mon Ye Pars!

He was incredibly biased towards Arbroath as he should be. Hope he is there tomorrow.

I think as you say he was biased towards his team which I would expect him to be, but he had a very tongue in cheek style which I thought was refreshing

I loved Fermer Alan.

Erm... not in the biblical sense, of course! He came across to me as the sort of stranger I would like to sit next to and chat with at a match.

Top tip for anyone watching the game on PPV this afternoon. Turn your heating off, open all your doors and windies, switch on a fan, it will almost be like being there 😉
