We as fans deserve clarity on why Dom and turner out the sqaud
Crawfprd has spoke about transparency on a number of times and to simply brush it off as he needs to pick the best 18 for a squad im sorry is bull.
No disrespect to Matty Todd but is he better or more suiteble than Turner

Nobody was bothered about Turner and Thomas`s omission on Wednesday night, in fact some were saying Thomas needed a break. Wewhad him on loan last season so if he has `attitude issues` surely they would have been obvious then.

When he was out of favour at his club and needed to extract the digit to get his career back on track he did well. Same this season when the team were playing free flowing football and he was clearly enjoying himself.
Then you get to the second round of games and teams start to make things more difficult.
It's how you deal with the difficult situations that makes the difference.

exactly spot on about Wednesday night but course bad game today and suddenly we need to know what's going on and the reasons for it.. Forgetting the lad hasn't kicked a ball since the Hearts home game, Fraser Murray got man of the match the other night and we signed another wide player in Banks

Two players "mysteriously" absent from the squad and some of you need ann explanation and clarity.

Turner was put forward as a swap for Wighton instead as Hearts wanted a fee. It didnāt happen ( obviously). Turner wasnāt happy that the club were looking to trade him in. I donāt post gossip ( and obviously live in Coventry) - so Iām not spouting speculation. The above is a fact.

Turner probably booted Thomas in training as he has a bad attitude...

If true, its a strange thing to get upset about. A move to Hearts would be a step up for Turner. If his contract expires in May and he hasn't signed a new one, maybe he doesnt want to stay with us anyway.

Hang on...so if this is true 1. Why would Turner be unhappy to get a new contract for a club that is almost guaranteed to be in the Premier League and 2. If Turner loves it here so much, why is that contract extension offer still sat in his glovebox?

Unless itās the other way around, and Wighton for Turner was what Hearts put on the table. Turner wanted to leave but the club decided theyād rather keep him for remainder of season and didnāt want to pay a fee either.
Makes more sense why he would be miffed (if he even is) as an opportunity for him to join Hearts wonāt come around all that often.
Pure speculation ofcourse.

I `heard` that Turner and Thomas had a bit of fisty cuffs in training. Turner got a 1 game ban and Thomas 3 games from the club. Turner missed the Hearts game and Thomas has now missed Hearts, Raith, Arbroath. If this is true Thomas maybe in the squad on saturday.

If the club has taken disciplinary measures against employees for misconduct then that`s a confidential internal issue for the manager etc. - details not for the public domain.

veteran- the manager brought it into the public domain, suggesting at the same time he wanted to keep it in house which is a contradiction. Thus folk have started to speculate.
Obviously Stevie is still learning as a manager, heās made a couple of astute changes at half-time earlier in the season to show that heās adapting on the tactical front but his media skills need work, the last two post-match interviews have been naive.

There was no incident in the public domain until Crawford told the media.
He was asked about their availability and all he had to do was say ānot selected for todayās gameā. Instead he waffles something happened at training yesterday I want to keep it in house.
If heās asked why theyāre not selected you just say I picked the best 18 for todayās game.
The contradiction is you canāt tell the media about an incident if you genuinely want to keep it in house.

He would just have deflected the problem temporarily if he`d said that. Thomas`s absence from the squad in the next two games would just have raised more questions. As jake89 says it`s impossible to deal with such a question satisfactorily.

Not sure if I am wrong but I do actually believe we should know as fans. I actually sponsor one of the players mentioned and would like to know if they have done something to bring the club into disrepute.
Whether he is on form or not, the 2 of them are probably regarded as 2 of our best players and keeping them out of the team is going to raise obvious eyebrows.

Perhaps Dom didnāt want it disclosed at the time and especially as the club would have been subject to an investigation to figure out if others could be impacted. Remember this is a personal health issue.
