Signed Copies of Heroes of the Halbeath Road

Secret Auction

The Pars Supporters Trust are delighted to be able to offer the chance to own a signed copy of the hugely successful book Heroes of the Halbeath Road. We have 5 copies which have been signed by Bert Paton, Jim Leishman, Stevie Crawford and Scott Thomson, who all feature in the book.

Written by Pars fan and author Mike Gibb, the book is now completely sold out with over 1100 copies snapped up by Pars fans from around the world.

To be in with a chance of owning your very own piece of Pars memorabilia, simply email Kenny.mclachlan7@googlemail.com with your secret auction bid, I will confirm if your bid is one of the top five by email, then post on the thread (the amount of your bid is the secret part)

If your bid falls outside the top 5, I will let you know by return and you will have the chance to submit another bid. The auction will close at 8pm on Friday 19th February

To make the bidding interesting and to give a little incentive we have Pars European programmes which the top five bidders can choose from, with the highest bidder taking their pick from :-

Home match v Stuttgart
Home match v Ujpesti Dozsa (Selected)
Home match v Valencia (Selected)
Home match V Orgryte
Home match v Bordeaux
Home match v Dinamo Zagreb (selected)
Home match v Athletico Bilbao (selected)
Home match v Slovan Bratislava (Selected)

So to clarify the highest bidder for the Heroes Of The Halbeath Road also gets first pick of one programme from the list above, second highest bidder gets second choice of one programme and so on until the five winners have taken their choice of 1 programme

Good luck with your bidding! Once we have five live bids then Let the fun begin at the knockout stage

There’s a great opportunity here for people to own a great piece of modern memorabilia and also perhaps fill a gap in your programme collection or indeed to kick start a new collection

The book is superb, I’m a bit through reading it myself and thoroughly enjoying it, you perhaps may have a copy already but might want to bid for a signed edition which you would keep in pristine condition

Keep you a mystery!!

How exciting, just like the advert for the “The Lady Who Loves Milk Tray”

The funny thing is I can see those high bidders dressed as the man (or woman) in black?

New bidder in, the man of mystery who wishes to be known as The Wanderer, is he from Bolton, Wolverhampton? who knows! in my mind he is like Clint Eastwood riding into town, half cigar to one side of his mouth!

What’s certain is he’s shot down LuxPar’s bid

LuxPar you have been knocked out mate!

This has been a good auction, lots of interest

Please have your bids in before 8pm tonight (Friday)
I can’t guarantee to be able to update all the bids that come in last minute and to let those know that they have been knocked out at the last gasp

Best thing to do is to get your bid in (or increase your bid) well before the deadline

Good luck folks

Just over an hour to go, if you are considering a bid perhaps best to go now to gauge where you need to be at the close of play
