Yes, it’s been the same for the last few home games. Pixelating grass and not very clear when action is quick.

I think if you’re watching on a smaller screen like an IPad or laptop then it may be ok. Watching on a larger screen reduces the quality maybe? I’ve tried the 3 streams and all are of similar quality. Watching via Xbox on 32” tv.

The other two are worse than the default one for me. I'm on a 24 inch monitor but isn't any better in a smaller window.

I'm also seeing pixelation whenever there's movement, especially noticeable on the grass.

Watching on a 32" TV. Same on 24" PC monitor.

Stream is 1280 x 720 but bitrate looks low at 1.5 meg.

Lost the stream just now too.

Brian,
I was on the default setup ie didn't use any of the 3 buttons at the foot of the screen.
When the stream drops just leaving the ParsTV background should I do nothing and wait on it coming back up, press the refresh button or one of the 3 buttons at the bottom?
I ended up losing several minutes after waiting then refreshing then giving up on that and relogging in.

Also missed the goal and so did the score keeper because according to the screen the final score was 1-1. But hey, we won and so many results went well for us today. But watch out for Q o S and Inverness who have several games in hand.

Stream dropped out for me just before both the goals so I didn`t see them
picture quality not very good for me this week either (tried 480 etc) but not any better but hey I will take the stream dropping out every week several times as long as we are scoring goals

JTH123, if the stream drops, the best thing to do is wait 20-30 seconds.
then at top right of the video frame, if you hover, there is a refresh icon, press that.

that is much better than doing a page refresh.

apologies for the drop, it may have been caused by the laptop streaming software glitch as it came back reasonably quickly.

Picture quality great and only 1 really short instance of buffering - don’t think I missed anything exciting - thought the commentary was better today as well with them getting the players right most of the time.

The stream was stable for almost the entire match, but like many others I found the low bit rate meant that the image badly pixilated every time there was motion. Its not like I'm even using a big screen - I typically use a 23" monitor. :(

I enjoy pars tv and I enjoy the commentary normally, today I thought there were too many questions getting fired at the co commentator and it took away from the game a bit. I must admit I did turn the volume down. However I do appreciate the chance to watch the games.

Thanks for the response Brian. One last thing - if people are reporting missing a goal or other major event in the game because the stream's dropped, it would be good if there could be a replay at an appropriate point. Don't know if you have the technology to do that?

we normally do the replays just after the incident. we don`t normally see a stream dropping so was unexpected today.
we could likely record these goals and incidents and play them back.

our stream has always been put out at a 1.5Mbps (at away games previously we would output at 500Kbps). Appreciate that there seemed to be pixellation so will check why, we did have an issue a few weeks ago that appeared similar but that was due to misconfigured mixer software.

No problem.at all today with picture quality.

Stream dropped out a couple of times in the second half, but was restored quite quickly, so didn't miss the goals.

I did laugh when the co-commentator saw Alloa's defenders advancing in search of an equaliser, and announced that the Calvary were coming - obviously they were looking for salvation ... ;)

I was on a cabled fibre broadband connection to the laptop and HDMI to the tv. Picture quality wasn't fantastic but I didn't have pixelation as I had done previously when casting wirelessly from a phone.
Only issue for me was when it dropped completely.

Haha! Is that what I said? Oh dear - a slight muddle of words in that instance. In fairness, it can also mean an experience of extreme suffering and I am sure there are plenty of Pars matches that we could attribute that feeling too.

Glad it gave you a chuckle - it's given me a wee laugh too!

Not normally for this season though I have assisted regularly in previous seasons. Covid protocols means numbers in the gantry are limited but for this game I was able to be there.
