 Relegation

It`s going to be a massive battle after the league splits to avoid relegation from the Premiership this season, and the outcome will affect DAFC - either if we reach the final of the play-offs, or if we don`t then who joins us in the Championship next season.

Only 4 points separate the bottom four clubs. Motherwell and Kilmarnock are in freefall, while Ross County and Hamilton have been in this situation before.

I think the bottom two will be Hamilton and Kilmarnock.

Tommy Wright has enough in his locker I think to keep Killie up and Yogi as we saw last night can get vital results.
Motherwell look to be in real trouble though so either them or Hamilton.

Killie are in freefall.
Motherwell are poor.
Great result for Ross county
Hamilton will battle all the way.

Too hard to call.

Hopefully Motherwell come down... They always seem to get away with relegation...

Killie are pinning all their hopes on Kyle Lafferty getting up and running as they aren't getting any goals elsewhere. On current form they are a goner. Hamilton have played pretty well in recent weeks and were really unlucky Hibs.
Ross County I reckon will be in trouble despite last nights result.

Motherwell look lost and 7 home goals shipped in 3 games with no fight doesn’t look good.
Kilmarnock 8 loses in a row now
Confidence is a huge factor and these 2 teams seem to have none.
Hamilton just play and have done well last few weeks and always seem to do enough and only team to have rightly kept faith in the manager and players now appear to be buying into that.
Ross county result last night must do wonders for confidence, Celtic Aberdeen and hibs they’ve beaten since yogi took charge.
Out of all teams I’d want to avoid Hamilton if we we fortunate enough to make play off finals.

Remembering that time we ended up playing Aberdeen in the play-off, my concern would be someone like Killie playing mince for another month before Tommy Wright finally gets them sorted out and we meet them just as they are beginning to fly.

(Always assuming we get there).

Pars to finish 2nd then get beat by QOS in the play-off. Typical.

Exactly.

You want s team who has slumped into the play-off spot, like Hibs when they went down against Accies, not one where it's a reward.
