Not sure if mayo is at CB as BBC showing both 44 Watson on the bench and the starting 11.

Results from other games going for us just now but still 45 mins to go and all the other games will be tight affairs
I thought We started the game well enough and we are having lots of possession but not hurting them one bit , no decent balls into the forwards at all
Stonewall penalty but absolutely horribly taken by Mcmanus if he had scored that it`s a different game
I know sometimes we need a grind out a result but a win today would be great
Hoping we can turn the point we have just now into a win !!

I think the goalie should be saving it too
At present the penalty miss is biting us in the bum !!
The biggest problem I can see is where are we going to get a goal from absolutely no creativity at all just now
plus we need to start passing to our own men , giving the ball away too cheaply
Need to change it up a bit just now

Sadly we`ve not threatened this half since they`ve scored. Expected a bit more to be honest after the first half. It`s mad to think we are second with how we have played in the last few months. We are capable of playing so much better and that`s what annoys me.

I’m gonna incur the wrath and be the first to say it. Crawford is costing us and needs to go. Looking over the results we e had in his full tenure is a poor read. He simply can’t get the best out of the squad and he seems unable to change the tactics on the fly. His persistence in playing players who are not playing poorly while leaving others on the bench has to be questioned.

I know there will be quite a few who disagree and I respect your opinion but we desperately look in need of fresh ideas. There will obviously be the “who we gonna get?” Replies too. Eck McLeish could do a job or we have investors who know Germany - maybe a wee untapped resource there.

We just can't break teams down that pack the box. Nobody making runs to create space in the middle, no shots from the edge of the box testing the keeper. Fon Williams flapped at their goal. The lack of tempo has been so evident, credit to queens they've been really lively going forward and impressed with their wingers.

I think he deserves a bit of time but the alarm bells have been going for a few months now. I am astonished we are still 2nd to be honest. We have been pretty murder bar the Rovers home game for about 2 or 3 months now.

If we don't make the Play Offs this season he should go.

I'd honestly gladly keep Crawford, but only in the recruitment department. He can clearly sign a good player and hasn't signed many duds at all but for being a former striker, he really doesn't set his teams up to attack or even score. Been absolutely stinking since the Hearts win

Have to agree Crawford has to go the football has been terrible, He seems uncapable of getting the best out of his squad and formation wise totally inept at changing when the going gets tough, A fresh approach needed ASAP or we will not be in the play offs im afraid.

Fon chocolate wrists Williams

Crawford has made like for like changes and done nothing.

Changes the team every week. No got a clue. Should be challenging hearts no struggling to stay in the top 4

I am no in agreement. Some of the players are so inconsistent. Mcmanus penalty was really poor. Fon Williams makes alot of mistakes which you wouldn't expect from an international keeper
Our issues seem to have went from defense-strikers to midfield

Then why pick me up on it if far more to worry about? I think the optics look bad when players behave like that. Just my opinion.

.....can’t defend this any more.

We have played 2 games against Hearts & the Rovers & the rest have been mediocre at best. Our attack is feckless, we play a nice passing game that gives us the square root of zilch at the end of the day. How many shots did we have this afternoon?

If Crawford cannot turn this around quickly we need to look for someone who can.........

Mid table at best.

FFS. We`re 2nd in a tough league. Sacking the manager after 1-0 loss in a tricky away game is just plain daft.

If you expect your team to win every game there are other options available. Rangers, Celtic, Man City - go support one of those.

You have to give Crawford until the end of the season. Playoffs were always the aim and if we make that, he has met his target. Next season we should aim for promotion and if he does not make that then we should change. As much as we`ve been dreadful recently and scraping wins where we should be comfortable, we are still in the playoffs. I still think with the team we have, we should be doing much better. Losing to Queens (regardless of their recent form) is far from good enough.

Well at present we are now back down to third place the wee team are again above us and with a game in hand !! QOS sitting 3 point off us played a game more
Looking like our next 2 games against Raith then Dundee are Big games now Lose them and we are toiling ! As teams around us are picking up points where we are dropping them
This team should be performing much better than this !
That is up to the Manager to do this but certainly only getting the best out them now and again, No excuses for today`s performance started well like last week then fell away
Another absolutely dire performance from a team that looked at times to have no hunger or desire to win that game saying that we did not produce any quality either , normal service was resumed today again

Stevie has been good at getting certain players in...also one or two poor ones btw.
But the problem lies that he can`t get the best out of them on a consistent basis. For me the football is beyond boring.
I honestly can`t remember the last time I was happy with a whole 90 minutes. It`s one half here one half there. We`re not even able to battle back after losing a goal it seems anymore.
Got players who should have us closer to Hearts but somehow don`t have the heart.
Unfortunately the manager takes the blame so he better work this out quickly or he`ll be out the door. And for me it`ll be the right decision.

A game of horrors shocking displays all round, a 6ft + plus keeper who can,t come for a cross and fails again and again to do the simplest things , we play tip tap football and get nowhere , their keeper will never have an easier day as we offered absolutely zero attacking options , and why Crawford continues to bring on Ohara as the saviour is a joke as he actually offers less than the man he replaces . Totally embarrassing.

I, like many others, are not too disappointed about the result. However it has been clear to see for several weeks now that our performances have been absolutely honking (apart from the home win against Raith). Yet again we didn't trouble the opposition goalkeeper and there was very little sense of urgency until the last 10 mins of the match.

What a bunch of bed wetters, it's only a game. QoTSA are the form team at the moment. It's a tricky away tie. Luckily for me, I had a wee dabble on them at 12/5 to win- free money which is paying for tonight's Chinese meal.
There's no way anyone should be asking for Crawford to lose him job, typical knee jerk reaction on here.
Since he had joined we have seen a steady improvement in the playing squad, it's a young, cheaply assembled side and you can see the development in the players, and we will reap the rewards of that when we sell them on, that's down to the coaching work by Crawford and Shields.
This is a work in progress, every team will go through sticky spells, it's a difficult league where any team can beat any of the others. Have patience, everything is going to be okay

Far too many changes to the team today which was quite strange, but that was an absolute dire performance today with hardly any attempts on goal. Time for Ohara to get a run in the team and for next week I’d get banks, turner and Wilson back in the team too. Better hope teams drop points with games in hand cause at this rate we are struggling for top 4

2 enforced changes and 2 tactical/selection changes possibly because of the injuries too, nothing wrong with the amount.

poor performance but not a surprise down there, goals change games and missing the penalty even that early in the game set the tone after it.

8 points out of 27 away from home is poor. 1 away win in 9

Dress it up how you like that kind of form is reeking.

If we could’ve put a run together we would’ve been pushing Hearts instead we are going to be fighting for the last play off spot.

I agree with the above - Why was Banks and Wilson dropped? More so Banks.

No sure what Gill has to do to get a run in goal OFW has chocolate wrists.

No thought MacDonald was poor at RB, we should’ve went to 3 at the back brought Turner on

All Crawfords changes were like for like no he has proven over last season and this that he can’t push us further IMO.

Folk will say over reaction but the numbers speak for themselves.

To be fair, Banks lost the ball almost every time he had it last week, despite the trickery. Can't argue with that change.

McManus was playing far too deep today, and then we persist with 2 sitting midfielders despite that not working in weeks.

Crawford just far too cautious. Every change a like-for-like rather than changing it up and trying something new. We all know Johnstons teams aren't great when opponents change system, but we didn't even try.

3rd in the league after 17 games.

the highest points total after 17 games since we have been back in the championship, theres a couple of numbers.

Gill isnt good enough.
too cautious, dont agree at all.
they changed the system a couple of times today, nothing worked. saying do something different, like at Arbroath when Todd came on and all Crawford got for that was abuse?

McIlroy and Thomas in i have no problems with, id have gone Wilson over Whittaker but they possibly wanted his experience in there given you had Mayo and Macdonald in the back line.
4 changes today is strange but wanting at least 4 next week isnt?

I'd honestly gladly keep Crawford, but only in the recruitment department. He can clearly sign a good player and hasn't signed many duds at all but for being a former striker, he really doesn't set his teams up to attack or even score. Been absolutely stinking since the Hearts win

Can someone clarify who is scouting new players? I though Jackie McNamara was still involved? I appreciate Crawford maybe involved when it comes to signing but he can hardly get the credit other than that.

Board have backed Crawford despite the teams poor performances, doesent help when you miss a penalty and goalkeeper is suspect, but the buck stops with him.Still in play off position
so he will be given time in my opinion to turn it round.
