This is a huge weekend for Raith, who have a great opportunity to cement a play-off spot. I`m sure McGlynn will ram it home to them.
If Raith win on Friday they go 3 points clear of Dunfermline with a game in hand. And with Dundee being away to Hearts, Raith could be 6 points clear of them as well.
And then on the Tuesday Dundee play Dunfermline (so one or both will drop points) while Raith would expect to win at home to Ayr.
All if`s and maybe`s though ....

"all if's and maybe's"
As my faither would have said "IF yer auntie had baws, she'd be yer uncle"
He probably would be allowed to say that these days right enough, in case some trans people got offended.
Anyway, Pars will pump Raith on Friday

Huge few days for Dunfermline to move towards a play off spot. Win at Rovers then against Dundee will go a long way to securing.
I`m sure Stevie will be ramming it home to the players, two teams we are unbeaten against this season so a great opportunity.

Tbh I really don't see us being in a play off place at the end of the season .
If that happens , it'll be a massive disappointment considering the squad we put together .
Looking at all our perceived competitors (even the unbeatable jambos) looking vulnerable , having relatively poor seasons , this should have given us our best shot at promotion in a long time .
Something has gone badly wrong . I don't know if it's just players under achieving or a manager not being able to get the best out of those players .
A loss on Friday could see us go into free fall .

Agreed, Berry. It`s like the guy at the game who tells you all the latest scores after 15 minutes then adds - `If these are the results at full-time we`ll be 2 points off the relegation place.`

No combinations of results over the next few games should surprise - a bunch of average sides in a very mediocre quality division.

"No combinations of results over the next few games should surprise - a bunch of average sides in a very mediocre quality division."
I kinda agree VEE although I think that`s a bit harsh on some of the better quality players in most of the teams. I`d suggest you could make up a pretty decent starting 11 select...…..but the teams are all pretty much the same level.
Not having a go at Stanza but if there`s one thing I`ve learned over the last 4 or 5 seasons it`s not to try & predict results in the Championship. His post does seem a bit silly given that even Hearts aren`t guaranteed to win every week.

Of course it's a daft post! We all know anything can happen in any match this season.
Still a big chance for Raith, though. Hopefully by Tuesday they'll have blown it.

Heard folk saying Raith's attacking style makes good viewing. I admit I was concerned before they came to EEP last time out. I posted on here to that effect. We were on not a great run of form (scraping single points here and there with draws)
We then go and pump them 4-1. Rovers style of play may be attractive to watch but ergo they are on same level of points as us and slip up occasionally just like we do.
Rovers last 7 matches from 23rd Jan to present

They have a game in hand, attractive football doesn't always win the game. I feel we have a stronger mentality and our players up their game against Rovers. Whatever happens on Friday ( I am working so gutted to miss it!) what will be will be but I think our lads will give their all.
