What injury does he actually have? Would genuinely say he's the best left back in the division when fit.

Never known a player to be out injured for so long and for none of the fans...it seems....to have the faintest idea about the nature of his injury.

Crawford said in a few interviews earlier in the season it was a calf and/or foot problem, certainly no sign of progress in this weeks interview quite the opposite in fact.

Does anyone know if Lewis contract is up at the end of the season.

If it is I can see him being released. Poor guy has had a terrible time with injuries over the years

A very good versatile player and I hope he overcomes his injury to get back playing.
It’s a difficult one for the club as he hasn’t played but when back to full fitness he could make them money as no doubt a team will come in for him.
Again you have to look at how long it will take for him to get back playing regular football?

I'm sure we extended his contract a couple of seasons back when he was injured all season. Concerning about his injury, hope he can get a few games in before the end of the season.

Awight Pat!

Good player. I would have liked to see him kick on this season but he has had a terrible time with injuries. As much as I would like to see him get kept on, financially I can't see the case for giving him another deal.
But.... That's not up to me

Maybe when the lockdown is lifted one of our German investment neeburs can get him over to have a look at his injury?
They have a top sports injury clinic that have helped all types of players get back.
👌👌

PF is a bugger. Can last a week or a few years . Orthoses worked for me. Physio helped a wee bit, but the orthoses put the building blocks back in place and stopped the cycle of stretch/contract. Hope it's sorted soon as he's a smashing player.

I got that when I played football about 5 years ago. Fell heel first in to a ditch at the corner flag at Airdrie`s stadium. Never felt pain like it. Can`t even play 5 a sides for 5 minutes without my foot being in agony. Hopefully Lewis can recover as he is a fantastic player but I fear his time could be up at the Pars.

I have suffered from Plantac Facitis. For about 30 years. When I was young I used to get cortisone injections into the painful area. These were extremely painful at the time but I used to get relief for a few months. Being a Technical teacher I was on my feet all the time. I got a mould made of my feet and got insoles made. The relief was amazing and the suffering decreased. Perhaps something similar could be made for Lewis. When playing he is a great asset to the team.

Eastendalloapar. My experience with the orthoses was similar, so much so we started doing a proprietary custom one at work and helped a lot of people with chronic PF. I have a pal that's a physio who won't treat people for this condition unless they get orthoses first.

I had it too a few years ago and it was agony. Bought one of those little supports you pop in to the heel of your shoe and bingo it was gone in two weeks.

I’ve had PF for a few months now but it comes and goes. Blooming sore tho. And totally frustrating. Poor guy.

Yeah, feel for the guy, the only one of our youngsters who has come on in recent years and not afraid to be physical. We are blessed with decent full backs at the moment too.

Sounds like his number is up with us though.

Just sitting here drenched in my own negativity!

I got it when I stamped as I was turning in a game of fives. Couldn’t play for months after that. Got an insert for my shoe and it resolved it mostly. However, every time I get up from sitting or in bed, it’s sore and right through the Achilles for a few seconds. Actually bought a fascist massager yesterday to massage the tendon to see if that helps before my fives career resumes shortly

Show us yer....

Theres a joke in there about a fascist massager I’m sure.

But I’m actually interested to see if it works for you Alfonso! It’s worse for me after playing sport or a long walk, first few steps after sitting down I hobble then it starts to loosen.

A footballer having this is awful, can understand why he’s out for so long.

`There`s a joke in there about a fascist massager I’m sure.`

Does a fascist massager `have vays of making you walk`?
