 Team v Dundee

Hard to predict what Craw will go with today or what is best. If Henderson is a best as 10 and not a central midfielder, then I reckon it`s back to 4-5-1. If that`s the direction we are going then I`d go with

Fon Williams

Comrie
Watson
E Murray
Edwards

Whittaker
Mayo

F Murray
Henderson
Thomas

Wighton

Subs: Gill, Macdonald, Wilson, McInroy, Banks, O`Hara, McManus

If Watson isn`t fit then Mayo drops back and one of Wilson/McInroy comes in - both have been very poor recently. F Murray has also been poor, could swap him with Banks. Macdonald I think has been one our brighter players recently, but I`d prefer a left footed left back and Edwards has not let us done this season.

if the pitch is in semi decent condition then 4231 for me, only change id make above would be Thomas on the right and Murray on the left.
if it isnt, probably need to go 4132 with McManus and Wighton up top, Whittaker the sitter then the 3 in between could be any trio really.

wonder if Whittaker might be a doubt though after rolling his ankle very early on on Tuesday, at times he looked like he was struggling with it.

I`m not really bothered about what team is on the park for us as long as we get the Win !! we need to get back to winning way`s , the only thing I will say Is if Henderson is going to help us in the midfield start him, anything at all that will maybe help us be more creative and speed things up there and help us get more goal scoring opportunities will be a bonus
And let`s go for it !

This is "must , win game " tonight , lose and it could be a downward spiral , hopefully young Henderson can give us the spark in midfield we sorely need .

"This is "must , win game " tonight"

a win obviously would be great but it isnt a must win, it definitely is a must not lose game though and the same can be said for Raith on Tuesday as well.

I'd say it's a must not lose as well. Think we need to be taking a minimum of 4 points from these two games though to keep us in a good spot for the final stretch.

Without doubt this is a must Win Game !!
I do not count games in hand over other teams !
lose tonight and Dundee will be in front of us
Lose on Tuesday night same scenario (Raith playing Morton today ) so who knows what the outcome there will be ! but we will know what we need to do (Win)
then you have ICT & QOS on 27 points
Ayr and Morton on 25 points so if any of them win and we lose they are all above us , I know other teams have played more games than us but tonight might just be a turning point one way or another !!
We need to play how we were playing at the start of the season tonight and get the Win , and kick on from there

Forget this, `must not lose game` crap.

That`s exactly why we`re all moaning on here to get rid of Crawford.

Since November we`ve been playing to not lose, we`ve forgotten how to play to actually win.

I certainly don`t want the ball to be going from back to front in the air and missing out Henderson, then what`s the point getting him in.

So let`s hope he gets us set up from now to the end of season, to push on and go for wins. I`d take the odd defeat if it at least looks like we`re looking to win the games.

I think the bottom 3 are more than capable of winning the 3pm games and if they do then that will hopefully give us a wee boost to go for it tonight. We are “on our day” depending on what kind of day we have of course more than capable of beating Dundee.

I am anxiously waiting to see what team and formation he chooses. The defence and midfield need to ensure they close Down players quicker and not give them time to hit from range. Need Whitaker to mute Adams

Adam is suspended

"Since November we`ve been playing to not lose"

there has not been a single game where that has been the case.

I’d disagree with that. The football has been negative almost every single week. 4 at the back & whittaker/Wilson/Mayo sitting basically on top of the centre backs. We nicks the odd goal and then hope to hang on, regardless of the opposition. The only exception I’d say was rovers at home where we showed what we can do when we keep going at teams for the full 90.

The football hasn't been negative every week. P1ss poor yes but not negative.

Neither of the games are must win or must not lose.

Every game is a must win . Bizarre mindset to not view it like that .

Sometimes when we think we`ve no chance in a game is the very game we win. Hopefully this is going to be one of them.

That's not the traditional definition of a "must win" though is it?
