 Israel v Scotland thread
Topic Originator: AdamAntsParsStripe

Che Adams given a start with McGinn up front in a 3-5-2 formation.
I’m surprised Dykes has been dropped as he’s very effective in bringing others into play.
How do you see this going tonight?

I actually thought Dykes was poor the other night and was hoping Adams would get the nod.

I've taken Scotland to win either 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 so chances are it's going to be anything than that.

Israel good at home, I think we’d be happy with a draw. Denmark admitted they run their Luck the other night.

Think a draw would be a good result , but we
Could really do with a win .
Going to be tough qualification , and points lost at home on the first night has already got us playing catch up.

Would like a win !
But this game is hard to call they are always hard to beat at home , if we can get a goal of a start we have a chance !

Horrific stuff from Scotland here. We’re going to really show ourselves up at the Euros. We are simply not very good.

Why are we playing so negatively? We’re standing off them and letting them play. Utter disgrace given the quality of our team.

Feel sorry for Che Adams a bit. You can tell he's a quality player and is doing a reasonable job of holding things up the best he can. Sadly, our midfield have been very poor.

Game over. This is despicable to watch. Watch as Clarke subs strikers for midfielders as usual.

Some strike but far too much time on the edge of the box.

We`re making a bang average team look like world beaters. Lose tonight and the campaign is as good as over.

Very confused why we are sat back, not pressing or tackling and generally letting them do what they like under little to no pressure.

Very odd.

Clarke is a manager very much in the Brown and Levein mould.
Don’t expect his teams to play open and expansive football

This is like watching the Pars !
sitting back not closing folk down and we cannot pass to our own players
We need to play higher up the park if we are going to get anything out of this
Adams absolutely isolated needs some help

Yet another midfielder coming on as predicted. Clarke’s obsession continues. Bizarre subs again.

Far too negative with the last three subs. Dykes, McLean and Armstrong are all too predictable. I would have loved to see someone direct like Nisbet come on. Need to win all our home games now and get a result in Austria/Denmark.

Just goes to show what a freak result that Serbia game was. We are a poor side with average or underperforming players. We aren’t really improving under Clarke. So frustrating.

Not sure brining on Christie ahead of Armstrong was the best move as he's been badly out of form for Celtic.

Did well to get back in it but never managed to kick on after the goal.
