Now on COWS.
Crawford sounds like he’s hurting but doesn’t think it’s his fault. Can’t see him resigning

Needs it taking out his hands, going to keep hanging on on in the hope it’ll suddenly click. Can’t see the wood for the trees. Did say dressing room not happy, probably referring to tonight but think the wider dressing room has had issue since November’s Thomas/Turner incident that never happened.

As said further up, this needs taking out of his hands now. Clearly bullish that this could be turned around despite the best part of 5 months of results suggesting otherwise.
If we make a change we might be able to salvage a play off spot, keep Crawford and we certainly won't.

Remember, this is a man who thought our display was decent against Morton and apart from a 15 minute spell was happy against Dundee.

If he says "collectively" one more time I am going to scream. That's just a cop out of not wanting to criticize anyone or any part of the team, even after a performance like that. It was however mostly his fault.

The board will give him til the season end as we’re still within touching distance of a play off spot. (Not my opinion I assure ye!)

"He clearly said his remit it to make the playoffs"
The Board should probably remind him they were referring to the Promotion play offs.

Collectively this Collectively that.
Play offs are still in our hands blah blah blah, forget them mate.
Can`t take his interviews seriously. Tonight was an all-time low embarrassment.
Unfortunately I really think he believes what he`s saying.
But the players don`t trust him or his tactics, well if they hadn`t already they don`t now.
Just what is he going to do to instill confidence in this bunch from now to the end...absolutely nothing, he`s not got it in him.
It`s one thing talking a good game it`s another thing doing it.
In fact he can`t even talk it.

Small thing but really irritates me in his interviews (I’ve not bothered listening to last nights) but he says something then he goes on to say ‘that’s not me saying this or that ....’

That interview sums up what aot of people thought of his appointment, meh, no drive or inspiration and for me no integrity, no taking responsibility.
Never a manager.

At least he sounds absolutely gutted. Players in the pitch didn’t look that fussed. Easy to focus on SC, and I think his time is up now, but the players were a disgrace last night. Some of the attitudes were shocking.

Sounded like a " it wisnae me attitude ", I was never in favour of him getting the job but like a lot of fans was prepared to give him the benefit , he has failed miserably. yes we have been in 2nd/3rd most of the season purely due the results of the other contenders, his failure at East Fife and his appointment of his assistant ?? shows his appointment was very Potteresque aka the cheap option.

I don’t often lose the plot at players and there was one instance where the Rovers keeper punted the ball to be met with a Rovers head with our player, a split second later, with his back to the rovers player attempting to head. This for me was showing that players were going through the motion. For a player wanting to “win” the ball he should have been attacking the ball with thoughts to run on. There is just real problems that we cannot understand with the team as some of the basics were not being followed. Ball retention poor, no option on receiving a ball, no shape to close down. Well done to the Rovers, in reality they should have scored more.

Just feels like again we worried way too much about how to line up to combat the opponents strengths when the best form of defence is attacking and playing the way where our strengths lie.
Trying not to be disrespectful but we are more than a match for the majority of teams in this division (should be anyway), it’s about time teams started worrying a bit more about us, we’re our own worst enemy at the moment.

Is it just me or is he blatently lying?
To say he set us up in the same way is absolutely nonsense. Is he hoping people have forgotten the 4-1 game and are unable to check the lineup?

I hate the idea that you need to `set-up` a team to cope with the opposition. A decent team (and manager) would have a way of playing and let the opposition worry about how to cope.

It was the pre-match interview that had me worried when he said something along the lines of I hope we can give them a game-hardly transmitting confidence. It goes without saying confidence is low but it`s his job to lift the players.

Not sure it's a great idea having half your team loan players when you're trying to dig out results.
It looked like a few were intent in staying injury free.

Just read his post match comments and another example:
‘That is not saying that a result against Hearts.....’
He also loves the word ‘collectively’ and ‘as a coaching staff’
Drives me nuts.

I don`t see any way back for him. The performances are getting worse. Hearts could be painful too. If the season started in November we`d be firmly stuck at the bottom. Of course the players have to take much of the blame, but football is about confidence and if you have no confidence in the guy who is telling you what to do then it doesn`t help.
