Good luck to them. I just hope the new facilities make a better experience for viewing football than the old Meadowbank.

I lived quite near Meadowbank until October of last year and the bit where the stadium used to be is now the Leisure Centre so not sure if the stadium is now at the back of there.
On another note someone had spray painted a superb portrait of Andrew Weatherall on the boarding outside the Leisure Centre on London Road. I hope that has been left untouched.
Awight Pat!

Good luck to them, is it only going to have a crowd limit of 500 or is it going to have standing terracing for more.

They are looking to build a seated and safe standing 1500 stand at the other side. I remember going to the Meadowbank games back in the day, I`m sure some of these were on a Friday night and also the welcoming committee of Hibs Casuals!

When I saw Meadowbank mentioned - the horror story of Hamish McAlpine`s only appearance for the Pars flashed across my mind.
Still to be exorcised !!!

VEE, at lunch time of that game I was told by someone employed at EEP not to go to the game. It was known that the squad who were travelling that night was so poor that we had no chance!
