Currently showing warm-up, but no sound at present and mute won`t unmute. Hopefully this feature will work when the commentators get going (or possibly not...)

The problem I had was my own fault, had my bluetooth connection on. But sound has been fine, better than what could be said for picture quality.

Picture quality is terrible. It`s like an 11 year olds filming it on their mobile.

Like last time I’ve paid my money and had to give up watching. This must be the WORST streaming service in the division. Didn’t see either goals because of continual buffering and before anyone asks, I’ve got terrific download speed.

"Didn’t see either goals because of continual buffering and before anyone asks, I’ve got terrific download speed."

it would be interesting to see if there could be a solution to this particular issue. My feeling it must be related to the browser and/or setup (windows or Apps opened and what else is using the connection).

I do see that Ayr output is running at 3.7Mbps which is pretty high, but the CDN and browser should manage the download traffic/speed between them

Stream quality was fine and the commentators were very good - very honest in admitting that if Ian the cameraman thought it was close then the Ayr player must have been at least a couple of yards off side 😂

As I keep saying though, pity about the game.

brian, all these technical explanations are fine but they`re not much consolation when you miss our goal and spend 25 minutes of the second half looking at a frozen screen. Technophobes like me can`t understand how, after 7 months, clubs can`t provide a reliable service.

wee_eck I understand,
however, it is difficult for us at the back end end trying to resolve issues, when others at the same time say they have a good stream. (I didn`t have any input to the Ayr stream today)

I watched the whole Ayr game today and didn`t have any issues with buffering or freezing.

I agree it would be good to identify said issues

p.s. at 16:50, yes indeed the stream will have frozen (as they will have switched it off)

Wee Eck, I bought the Ayr stream on Tuesday ( v Dundee) and the picture was buffering every 6-10 seconds. My broadband speed was showing as 860 meg !
Today was the same so I actually changed the router I was using and worked a lot better ( but not perfect) . It is frustrating but there are so many interdependencies and so much of it out of the control of the broadcaster !

No problems with the stream, but the low camera position made it uncomfortable and difficult to watch.

My screen froze for 15 minutes after about 57 minutes and again for the last 10 minutes of the game. I sent e-mails to the Ayr support team during the game and again after full-time but I`m not holding my breath.

Main commentator was OK, though like many others could have done with just shutting up for a bit, now and again. Second commentator was really good, and I was impressed with her the last time as well.

The main issue at Ayr is that the camera angle they have isn`t very good. There isn`t much the people involved can do about that, and maybe because of the position they have, the camera work tries to zoom in all over the place and at a few points it seemed to be moving around so much as to make me feel sick.

Stream quality was pretty good for me. Buffered for a couple of seconds 3-4 times in the first half but that was it, and I think that`s quite acceptable.

I have a relatively slow internet connection (about 10Mbit/s), and the only time at any ground I`ve had real problems this year was the home game against Alloa. I`ve found it`s a bit better when I close everything and do a full reboot immediately before opening the stream, and then only have one tab open with the stream and nothing else.

Thought the commentary team was very good but not an ideal camera position and at times camera swung around a bit too much. My internet is even slower than Socks’ at around 4-7 MBps and I too only had some short buffering on a few occasions early in the first half and a perfect stream for the rest of the game. I stream from Chrome on a laptop via a HDMI cable to my TV and that is the only window I have open on the laptop

Never had any issues with the stream, other than commentary being about 1-2 seconds ahead of the visual ( which was the same as the last visit)
No idea about download speeds etc but as with every game this season, I watched on Amazon silk through fire stick

The flame still burns
