Come on Dortmund.
I think they will progress.
Spitting Pep- 375 spits last week during loss to 10 man Leeds will be away shortly.

I don`t get the animosity towards English clubs in European games. I like to see them all doing well - maybe because I`m familiar with all their players. The England team, now that`s a different ball game... 🙂
I was happy to see Chelsea go through last night and would be pleased to see Liverpool and City make the semis tonight. Can`t see them both making it though. I`d have watched both games if they weren`t on simultaneously. Don`t know why UEFA couldn`t have arranged staggered kick offs.
I`m going to watch BVB - City as I think it`s the more finely balanced tie of the two. Liverpool will find it tough without the Anfield Kop behind them and if Real cancel out their away goal, I think they`ll go out.

It`s not animosity. I have never been a fan of city. Any other English team is fine.
Having said that if liverpool resign Suarez they can go tae

I have this sickening feeling in the pit of my stomach that Liverpool might just make it through. Two nil would do be enough. Three out of the four semi finalists would surely cement the EPL as Europe`s elite national league.

Great start for BVB! Don’t think City like a team attacking in numbers.

The pen was a bit harsh but City were again the better team. Foden completely unmarked before his goal. BVB tried to go for the 1-0 win when they might have been better looking to score a 2nd.

Only caught the second half but city were really impressive, they moved the ball around so well.
Almost wore Dortmund down in the same way Peps Barca team of Xavi, Iniesta, etc would have.

As good as City are, they are going to have a problem with PSG counter-attacking them, if Mbappe and Neymar are playing?

Brilliant display of one touch, two touch football at times. Fantastic ability to play the ball inch perfect to the feet of team mates. Kevin De Bruyne was superb but looked knackered at the end and the league is now won so wrap him in cotton wool before the semi.

I thought both sided played well which made for two entertaining fixtures. Having caught a few Dortmund games this season I thought the commentary team were right to highlight how well they were defending compared to the league games they've lost. Ultimately a couple of mistakes from Can played a large part in their exit from the tournament which shows how fine the margins are in football at times. City played well though and deserved it over the two legs even allowing for the dubious refereeing decision in the first leg.
