If O`Hara is played in the right formation he can be lethal. Always seems to be in right place at the right time. Delighted he`s scored again. Hopefully we can kick on and not let Queens back into the game so easily.

Don’t be daft Ross, folks still can’t believe he’s been given a three year contract with us.

You could see what he was capable of with Alloa. If he can do that for them then he can do it for us. It surprised me people were unhappy with that too. Players will always struggle to make an impact off the bench with 15 mins to go. He needed a good run of games.

There`s a lot less people posting when we win than when we lose, which confuses me. Whatever anyone thinks of SC we surely all want the Pars to be successful.

They were massively on top today and played some great stuff in spells (and some utter sh1te in moments).

Would it be too much to ask to get everyone behind the team for the next couple of matches and save the daggers until the end of the season?

It was a great result, four unbeaten now and into a winnable tie at home to Arbroath and a now relegated Alloa.

Just need to hope ICT drop points on Tuesday, would settle for a draw in that or a Dundee win and get this back in our hands.

We played well for the most part, Dom Thomas was excellent and had the left back on toast.

Not sure what others thought but imo the midfield shape left us exposed at times.
Don't think it would work against better opposition.

A bit nervy at points in the second half but over 90 minutes we were the better side and deserved to win. Nice to be able to say that, as it`s been quite a while since we`ve been the better side and won.

I enjoyed watching Kevin O`Hara today. When he gets into good positions he does have something about him and does seem to have Nicky-Clark-like instinct in those situations. What I loved today, though, was that he also showed that he`ll work for the team. To have your forwards doing defensive work in the opposition half when you`re protecting a lead can make such a difference.

I too thought we were way too open through midfield, and I`m not really sure what the logic is of having McManus in there when we have two other forwads on the park. It was weird seeing it on Tuesday when it clearly didn`t work, and so it was an odd call to go with something similar again. I hope we don`t do the same next week.

Quite a good effort from all 4 at the back today. Given how exposed the system left them, it`s to their credit that collectively they stood up to most of it, especially without both first choices in the middle.

Although it`s bee poor of late, winning that game today gives us a decent chance and can hopefully be the start of a better run.

I am a bit nervous about the Arbroath game though. They done well today to be 3-0 at half time. They will be wanting the points in the bag before they face a possible winner takes all against morton for final game.

Certainly enjoyed that, played some great stuff at times, the Doonhamers couldn`t hack Thomas, and were pretty defensive when they couldn`t chase the game.

Nice to see the players playing with confidence.

A good performance today and a well deserved three points. Given the injuries, I don`t think there were too many other options but hopefully next Saturday we will be able to put somebody else alongside Whittaker in central midfield, no doubting McManus` effort but he`s not effective there.

Thomas was excellent, on a decent surface if we get him on the ball often higher up the pitch he can do that. O`Hara was also very good. Wighton is effective if given the ball into feet, he made a few good chances out of nothing, although should have stuck the one early in the second half away. I hope that goal will get Fraser Murray going again as well. Henderson got better and better, he did a decent job on the left but you can see he is at his best behind the striker, although I`d expect us to with 2 up top for a while, so he`ll either need to stay wide left or maybe he would compliment Whittaker well in central midfield.

The defence as normal all did well, the two centre backs were strong, only getting caught out once to a good ball over the top in the 1st half. Edwards and Comrie were both tenacious and had solid games. Finally OFW certainly deserves some credit, his recent form (for quite a while now) has been good and that was a brilliant save right on half time, had we gone in 1-1 after that first half then our confidence would have taken a big hit.

Arbroath will be difficult next week but hopefully that`s done a lot of good for morale and confidence.

To be honest, when it comes to football, tactics etc, Socks knows his stuff. You could almost switch off everyone else on dafcnet and just have him on it as he is one of the few folk that know about the game. All the others that think they know but they are just blethers
