I seen some wee team fans have put some stickers above the ticket office to remind us of the recent scoreline. Quite subtle so maybe the club haven't spotted them.

They are the one team, above any other, that I enjoy beating. So many of their fans feel the same way about us and amen to that - long live rivalry! The recent thrashing the Rovers dished out was very hard to bear, but Rovers’ fans are entitled to relish it and to rub it in. Our day will come round again, hopefully soon.

I have to state that coming from Clackmannanshire that I have no hatred towards Raith Rovers. Indeed as a teenager my parents bought a caravan at Pettycur Bay and spent a great deal of time eating and drinking in Kirkcaldy. I sometimes event to see the Rovers. If we do not get promoted this year I would like to see them go up. When Paul Smith played for us he was one of my favourite players, he was great at letting opposing goal keepers know that he was there, it is a pity that is probably not allowed now!

Obviously falkirk are our main rivals, but I know rovers see us as their biggest rivals so let them enjoy it when they can.
It could be a good year for Wee Fife teams if Kelty get promoted also.

Falkirk’s never been our main rivals.
Not until the late 1960s then a “special relationship” formed - and then it eclipsed old traditional rivalries.

F*lkirk have been our main rivals as long as I remember. My first taster of the nastier side was 1980 in a game we lost 2-1 after equalising in the final minute from Colin O’Brien, they took center and ran up and scored.
Anyway, notable at half time was both sets of fans spilling onto the field for a mass brawl.
Rumour has it, it began in the 1960’s when Dunfermline had an ice rink and rival gangs would often have a fight on a Saturday night and it then spilled over into the football later on.
I’d definitely say, they have always been our biggest rivals in my time.

I'm sorry but I have no hatred of Raith fans, but 95% of Falkirk fans are scum. I worked with several, only one of them was a decent human being. As for Raith being on their high horse, if we qualify then we will have a chance to put them in their place.

The Rovers rivalry is quite friendly in general, know a few Rovers fans and they are genuinely decent guys. Good banter.
Falkirk are a different story, horrible club and fans.
I always felt Falkirk was a bigger rivalry for me growing up in the early/mid 90s but I suppose it is different depending on what era you grew up in.

Right, beginning to understand the reason behind seeing Falkirk as our main rival due to the hatred and scummy club.I,m pretty sure Rovers fans and certainly the ones I know feel the same regards Falkirk.
Rivalry/derby wise its definatly the Rovers
Agree with EEP that Rovers deserve there GIRUY attitude just now and its a bit rich calling them the wee team when we,re trailing in their wake

FFS the wee team thing is just banter. It always gets them raging. Obviously we're all "wee" but they'll always be "wee-er" and them being above is in this kid-on season for a few weeks doesn't change that.

Like many other Fifers on here I also have real affection for Raith or "the Rovers" as my uncle used to call them, with that cute Fife sing song accent that went up at the end of the sentence. With a dad who came from Burntisland and a mother from Kirkcaldy and a Granny whose dad played inside left for Raith and who told me she went to the training with him and waited till he was finished, feeling any resentment against them would be like falling out with your own family. I just hope our players react positively to getting hammered by our less well financed, local rivals and never let it happen again.

Lol - reminds me of Cowdenbeath making t-shirts about beating us in a game, possibly the play offs!
I suppose they have to celebrate something 🤣
As for Falkirk & the Rovers - as someone else said, the Rovers are like an annoying wee brother that nips yer heid every now and then so it's def Falkirk then Raith for me, although when they play each other I'd prefer them both to lose, haha!
I'll go with the respective songs we sing - F Falkirk .... is in our main ditty, with the Wee Team one really only surfacing on derby day.
We don't even hate them ...... 🤣🤣
1 = Rangers & Celtic
3 Hearts
4 Falkirk
5 Airdrie (although possibly not so much recently)
6 Dundee United
7 Raith Rovers
So the Rovers don't really resonate with me until we're playing them or obviously challenging each other for a league (thank you BMMMH!)
COME ON YE PARS!
