That's all I wanted today, didn't care how, first win in 8 games. Good day at the office. Will await the 'buts' from the doomungers...

We were in control of the game for me that’s the big difference from previous weeks. Dom was on his game also breaking O’Hara & McManus from midfield was giving ourselves lots of options. We looked dangerous every time we moved it forward. I thought we started to struggle at 1-0 around the 70 min mark but they upped the tempo.

We must keep this going to have any chance.

Whittaker as Captain is the correct choice.

Biggest difference today was that we looked to play through the midfield rather than hoof the ball up the park - in the very first minute Gaspuitis held on to the ball looking for a pass forward rather than just clearing it - Henderson helps so much because he runs about looking for the ball - this then meant we were able to bring Thomas into the game more. Reverted to type a bit more in the second half but this was understandable as confidence is fragile at the moment - pity it’s taken 25 games to work out that high balls to our forwards don’t work. It must be months since we created so many chances - let’s hope this is not a false dawn and we can have more of the same next week.

Best team throughout. Obviously QoS had good spells.

Two more performances like that and we should be in the top four.

I would have been clapping happily for all I was worth, but with the Grandfather of the Nation being laid to rest today, I've managed to retain a sombre, dignified silence.

Great result when you think QOS have won at Tynecastle and the San Starko this season.
