Under 16s free
Walk up prices for concessions and Under 18s £15
With the possibility of social distancing restrictions still being in place for the 2021/22 season, every effort will be made to accommodate supporters to sit on their designated seat but this may not always be possible. Partick Thistle Football Club reserves the right to relocate season ticket holders to an equivalent seat in the stadium. Any supporter who requires mobility assistance, should contact the club to note their requirements.

In the event of the number of Partick Thistle season ticket holders exceeding the restricted capacity of Firhill, a ballot will be held to determine which supporters are able to attend.

In which event will the under 16s be excluded from the lucky dip ?

Seems to be a new trend with them being excluded from the Euros and also from the Lions game at Murrayfield.

Hopefully not one that will continue

I'm interested in your rationale. That's all.

They weren't allowed to register on the UEFA ticket portal for the Scotland Supporters Club tickets despite many being eligible through the points system.

Adults could only register for 1 ticket per match so they miss out.

UEFA suck - this & sticking to the prices tiers in a 3/4 empty stadium is a joke!

I’ve got tickets for the Croatia vs Czech Republic game and there’s nothing on the portal about no kids. In fact they mention that children must pay adult prices.

Did you get them in the UEFA ballot tho KP?

No under 18s were allowed to register for SSC tickets and adults were only entitled to buy 1 ticket per match via this method, linked to our passports.

"I`m interested in your rationale. That`s all.".

OK, no disrespect, but I though that would have been obvious.

Here`s the issue - a full price season ticket holder is one of the unlucky supporters who is excluded from a match due to the restricted numbers scenario kicking in.

Meanwhile an under 16 who has a free ST gets lucky in the linked lottery.

I can`t think that would go down well with those who pay.

Most rational fair minded fans would acknowledge that these aren't normal times you'd hope. Maybe not...

Might as well auction them to the highest bidder then. Maximise income now.
But don't cry later about not being able get young kids interested in football.
As you've probably guessed by now I have a wee one who has a season ticket. She's 9. Yes it didnt cost much but she got both strips and various other things this season so she's paid her way. She's also avidly watched every single game via the streams or tv this season.

"Might as well auction them to the highest bidder then. Maximise income now."

Now you are getting ridiculous.

Giving out free STs and them giving some priority over full price paying ST holders by chance lottery is a recipe for alienating the latter.

Take your point but surely the same people's names can't come out every week so it's about sharing out the number of games among the support equally? I'm no expert on Thistle's ticket rules but I'd also imagine that a free kids ticket would only be available with a paying adults ticket.
If you follow your logic does a full paying adult get a higher chance of success in the lottery than a pensioner concession or is that also ridiculous?

It’s Partick Thistle we are talking about, the oversubscription won’t be an issue

The over subscription issue was academic in the season just ended of course.

Until we know the government restrictions for 2021/22 it`s impossible to envisage what might (operative word) become a problem area, including the possibility of no walk up fans.

Hopefully it won`t come to that.

I read the above PT notice as free STs for under 16 - no indication it was linked to an accompanying adult. That obviously would allow juveniles to attend with their complimentary ST.

Issuing free STs to youngsters is commendable, to some extent, in theory - but the notion that it will encourage significant numbers to follow the club in adulthood is dubious IMO - but that`s a different debate.

Interesting to see how this works. I want to take my eldest to a game but how would it work if they pulled out his ticket but not mine? Too young to go on his own.

Dunno Jake as we've not been in that situation yet. I would hope that the adult tickets would go into the draw but the ones with a related season ticket holder child would be flagged up so they could be brought along too. Clearly that would impact on the number of seats available for allocation so they'd maybe need to do a first draw of 90% then firm up the numbers at the next stage.
