Makes sense for him if he lives there, much more practical and ofcourse a club who will be expecting to be promoted.

Lives near killie? He’s been with a Fife club for the last 4 years! That’s some commute...

Even a 2 year deal with us is not on enough money get players to move to within an hours drive of east end.

Just sitting here drenched in my own negativity!

Yeh especially this last year when they have had to travel alone and no car schools, Josh Edwards stays down there as well in the shadow of Rugby Park.

So say 4 return trips to Alloa for training is around 100 mile round trip a day, match day to east end 140 mile round trip, Well over 2k miles a month !! Not cheap when have to drive it and cover the fuel yourself

All the best to him, a decent player for us.

Would you take Cal Morris back? Noticed he is a free agent

No because he will spend half the season injured.

Morris had his chance and decided the DA wasn`t for him.

Taking him back is a backwards step.

We need to stop the nostalgia and look forward. New fresh blood for fans to discourage and bemoan about.
Or
At least fresh blood that want to make the best of an opportunity like Kevin Nisbet. Pushed aside and needed to refocus and knuckle down. Which the will get fans behind them.

Well not good for Pars being an opposition player next season, for obvious reasons don`t wish him well at all in games against us but can shine away against all others. Still think he dropped gears playing for us when he had decided not to re-sign a contract and terrible example as captain on the rest of the team when the captain doesnt want to stay on. Was a stable CH and gave us a good 6 months in solid defending and its been a while the pars have had a regular CH scorer when he did push himself. ;)

He`s been a nomad since he left Motherwell and has never stayed anywhere beyond his initial contract so it`s no surprise he has moved on again.

Morris is a class player at Championship level. I`m sure we`d forget about him leaving in the past if he signed and we start keeping a bunch of clean sheets.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I love it when we go sell Kevin Nisbet,
He's gonna pay for everyone this season.

FFS I'm astounded we can get any players what with all these unlikable sh1tey managers we've had over the years.

When you put it like that he's no longer injury prone nor a step back....

Murray was a very capable player but shouldn’t be too difficult to replace - all this stuff about him not trying so hard after deciding his future was elsewhere though is complete nonsense.

We signed Ryan Dow on the back of a poor fitness record - good player when he’s fit but spends far too long on the treatment table - something to think about with Morris. My memories of him are also more mixed than most on here - he went through a spell where he completely lost confidence and was very poor - one game at Tannadice he looked like he’d never seen a football before - finished with us playing really strongly though.
We have experience with Watson - should we not be looking for a youngster with potential to play alongside him?

Doesn’t say we can’t get any players just says Callum wanted to move elsewhere as he didn’t get on with AJ. Think you’ve got reading issues.

I get the impression he enjoyed his time at Dunfermline. He used to be involved in many off the field activities such as ten pin bowling, supporters quiz nights etc. A good, solid club man. If fit, I’d take him back.

Look mate , I’m quoting what CM told me up in Inverness one night when he was in the Pars end, I don’t need to join any dots but you need to stop adding 2+2 and getting 5. No where this thread does it say we can’t get players.

There are posters on here who assume a fall out with the manager every time a player is dropped or moves on. I apologise as you are obviously not one of them.
