Michael Gardyne would be great in our midfield.

Sign the first 6 and it won’t matter what strip we wear or who the manager is, that’ll win us the league.

Oh and maybe a goalie 😉

Morris is too big a risk now , Gardyne and Mckay could do a job for us .

Draper always strolled the games against us, although that could be as we haven’t had a decent midfield for years now though.

A few of them must be getting on a bit for County to punt them tho as surely they would still be good enough for lower prem?

There is a nucleus of a championship winning team there right enough!

Attracting Gardyne and Vigurs would show real ambition.

When Draper last played at EEP......he bossed the midfield...may be worth a punt.....

Unsure if Grant and Hughes’ time at Celtic overlapped, but I’m sure there will be a phone call made by Grant in the next few days ?

Not sure what the record is but noticed Vigurs had 19 yellow cards and a red in 35 appearances last year!

Callum Morris has hardly featured in the Ross County squad in the latter part of the season. Does he have a long-term injury?

Loan players from clubs that are 20-23 years old is never going to get us out this division but only benefit the clubs they have came from.

True but you can only do so much with our budget. So we do what we need to do...

A lot of mistakes made by Craw last season like getting rid of Turner for example.. nobody knows what happened but he was our best attacking midfielder then he brought in Henderson.... decent player but got pushed about and couldn’t handle the physical side.
Anyway I’m sure the loan boys came in and deluded with Crawfords formation etc but it’s a fresh start now and Peter Grant will not faff about and put the best players in the team plus work on formations with them.👍

How did he manage 35 appearances? Surely he had multiple bans?

It has made me wonder with the rumour that Peter will be Head coach and coaching the team. If that is one of the reasons behind the whole Kyle Turner affair, which created addition pressure for Stevie ending in him resigning.
Makes me think there was something in the structure about line management that needed changed hence director of football and headcoach rumoured role.
Not 100% sure about that format. Who has the final say on who we buy etc.

Anyway.......

Await the news and wait and see what happens and how it looks at begining of the season.

The board and investors have stated that they want to bring in young players to cultivate and sell on.

Doubtful any of Ross County’s cast offs will be on our radar.

The board and investors might have changed their mind as you will not get promoted with kids in the team. You need players that have been there and done that... Dundee for example.

Part of cultivating younger players can include bringing in older players who look after themselves and do all the right things re training, lifestyle, mentality etc.

I love it when we go sell Kevin Nisbet,
He's gonna pay for everyone this season.
