Hope the boy is OK first & foremost. So he misses tomorrow night but it`s really really good to know that this boy will be involved in our national team for the next decade & more.

Get well soon lad.

As da says, isn't it great to have someone with so much potential to have around for the next ten years minimum.

Mind you, once isolation is over we'll have him back for the quarters.

If it survives on surfaces for a period of time then there`s probably an infinite number of ways you can come in contact with it.

Tierney unavailable for the first game and now Gilmour unavailable for the third game - sometimes it does feel like the footballing gods are conspiring against us.

Game for us. NAH just kidding, he never had any good games for us. I'm also gutted for Gilmour

Gutted for the lad. Best player on the field on Friday.

Need to say though alot of the players upped their game significantly and I feel confident IF the same passion is shown we can certainly win this one. Steven has no option but to go out to win.

We looked great going forward against England and to read the stats possession aside we more than competed.

C`mon ye Scotland!!

First time for everything and we always play better when we`re underdogs

Superb article by Andrew Smith in "The Scotsman" today focusing on how the much criticised Callum Mcgregor complements him.

Callum`s passing accuracy was at 95%.

Billy`s performance was one to remember.

Mount and Chilwell of England now self isolating. I did notice a Chelsea huddle at the end of the game which could have spread the virus between them.

Centre midfield is the one position where we are probably strongest in terms of other options so not the worst in that respect.

Gutted for the lad though, especially after the performance against England. Would have been good to see how he fared up against Modric.

If he's asymptomatic he's not likely to be shedding as much viral load as someone whose symptomatic. Not everyone whose got a virus infects someone.

Also a possibility it was a false positive.

Typical `British` media on the BBC at half-time in the Belgium-Finland game; it was all about how BG`s positive test affected England and their approach to the match against Czech Republic tomorrow.

Is it not to do with professionals playing contact sport is deemed as not being a close contact. But with the two said players being seen to have embracing BG that's been seen as a close contact. Madness I know

Isn`t it because the Scotland players are in their own `bubble` with various mitigating procedures in place?

It's because the only England players who got near him were the ones giving him a hug at the end.

I know you’re desperate to be offended but they talked a lot about Gilmour before the game. Plus the Chilwell/Mount news was breaking during the evening whereas the Gilmour news had been around for hours and discussed, at great length, on other media all day.

I`m far from `desperate to be offended` but you don`t have to look very far to see the British media is slanted towards our much bigger neighbour. I didn`t see the start of the programme so can`t comment on that.

On the question of why none of the other Scottish players was affected but two English players were, I`ve just heard a Public Health expert explain that Mount and Chilwell apparently spent about 20 minutes in the tunnel after Friday`s game chatting to Gilmour and that will be why they are considered to be at risk. By following the various protocols in place for teams in a bubble the rest of the Scotland squad mitigate these risks.

Wee Eck- while we’re part of a union where one country is ten or eleven times bigger than another, that has to be both expected and accepted…

Like it or not, broadcaster’s have an audience and when that audience is 11-1 interested primarily in the England team, then that is what they’ll serve up.

Yep but without wanting to drift into politics forum, it was accepted the day we (collectively if not individually) said ‘no thanks’ seven years ago…

…so can’t see how we can complain about the above or even repeated 66 mentions going forward.
If it was the SBC and we won the World Cup, I’d demand it was mentioned every day, between every program! 😂
