I’m away on holiday till Sunday and was planning to buy my season ticket by the 30th to guarantee my seat. Now I’m told the shop isn’t open after Saturday. Tried to use the online system but the don’t recognise my email despite sending me an email to remind me. Tried adding a space at the start of my address as instructed but no deal.
What is wrong with the Pars, they never seem to be able to handle any sale of tickets without #%^** ups.

When the season tickets were announced it was just the date of 31st July to keep your seat, so they obviously changed it and have not announced it.
We only realised its changed cause of the original post above!!!
Poor stuff from marketing side of things, could and probably will catch a lot of people out who seen the original date when it was announced.

I wasn't being wide honest. I could've sworn the original document said 31st July

I budgeted on getting it bought in July , the MOT being due for the car at the end of June and some hefty vet bills this spring has meant there's not a lot of spare cash going about .
Going to cause a few headaches methinks .

Very poor from the club but it’s what you’ve come to expect from them. They’ll lose money with this blunder.

I don`t see any reason why it can`t be held till 31st July it`s not as if there won`t be enough space to accommodate season tickets and it is not going to put any new season ticket holders off buying.
A lot of people do have to budget so it would be a good gesture if the date could be extended.

How does that work then ?
I thought the reason given for the deadline for buying , was to guarantee keeping your assigned season ticket seat .
If that's not the case , why set a date ?

Been trying to phone and renew my season ticket since 10am, left a message asking them to phone back as requested. Also sent email and tried online to no avail, has to be a registered address. Been a season ticket holder for 40 years wouldn’t like to lose my wheelchair space now. Never mind they are maybe not needing the money. Must be selling thousands they can’t get back to me.

I renewed my season in the shop last Friday, David the volunteer was in on his own and the phone had been ringing off the hook all day but he’d no time to answer. He had a queue waiting when he opened up and was kept busy all day. I don’t know if the situation is the same today and that’s why your call hasn’t been answered? I felt a bit sorry for David last week, I’ve promised him that when I retire in a few years I’ll be in the shop beside him to help! I hope someone gets back to you soon Oldfifer.

Surely the club could arrange to post them out by a secure post, we’re not that hard up are we? Such a poor customer experience

Let`s say £3 for secure delivery times at least 2,500 is £7,500
I know how much money I`d rather save in these difficult times, I`m guessing the club lost money in the last pandemic year

Great recovery , but a bit slow .
I went down and got mine yesterday morning , before learning I could've waited .
Have dipped into car upkeep money , any additional expense now is going to have to go on credit card or overdraft .

I won’t be able to renew my season ticket this season. Just too much cash needed for other things just now and with all the uncertainty regarding if we’re actually going to get into the stadium to watch the games. It’s even harder to justify the money.
Does anyone know if there will be pay per veiw available to uk residents?

Contact Matthew on Tuesday Taxipar and he'll be able to add your son to the system so you can renew his season ticket online too. Email matthew@dafc.co.uk or phone 01383 745909.
Problem is to do with the transfer of the database to the new ticketing system. Once complete for this season, future renewals will be more efficient.

went online on tuesday placed order for disabled ticket and it arrived today so very impressed with the turnaround.
decided to buy a season for the first time partly due to being declared disabled and it hopefully will push me to move off my chair and go back to see the Pars.
my last game live was the Rovers cup tie away and never went back after that and it became very easy to not go back believe me and considering i have supported the Pars for 50 years and for over 30 years it was home and away including daft friendly matches.
so bought it now just have to force my way back but at least the club have my little contribution in the bank.
